This is crazy, I had this exact idea and along with classmates made an incredibly similar game back in 2021 down to the little details, albeit our game is less polished (it was my first ever game haha). Our game "Tower Siege" is on my itch account. Are you my classmate??? I'm so shocked right now.

Hello! I've been wanting to play this game as I loved Rogue Fable III, but I get stuck at "Loading 99%" or "Loading Completed" and haven't been able to play the game yet.

Is anyone else not able to play the game at all? My game gets to at least Loading 97% or even to Loading Complete but then it gets stuck and never fully loads in. What should I do to be able to play the game?

yooo this is lowkey huge. That should fix my issues with the Richter fight and be a good change in general.

This happened to me too I was super confused - I thought getting the cigarettes sent you back to your last save point it happened so fast. The bug of respawning in thorns or water happened in a few places but that one was the most instant and unfortunate.

I'm super stuck on the second Richter fight. Am I a scrub or is it quite hard? Especially compared to the other boss fights. I upgraded my health but I can't beat him. His attacks are crazy fast and stun for a long time + he teleports away out of hitstun. The worst part is all his attacks, especially his leap attack are homing so you can't dodge it easily especially in the small arena and it feels crappy. Am I missing something or should I get gud? I think another problem is that I dash back instead of turning around sometimes which screws me.

All in all this game is super sick and I would pay for a full release. Beyond metroidvanias it reminds me of Celeste and Transistor in some aspects but it is definitely it's own thing. I think when completed this game will be incredible - this demo has huge potential.

Last Edit: I beat it by dashing to one side of the arena and doing sweep kick into elbow + knee rinse repeat
