Holy crap. This hit home in so many ways. I don't know what I expected exactly, but what I got was a thought-provoking masterpiece. I see myself in Ally very easily, as I've unfortunately been in similar positions. To those who are domestic violence survivors, this game gives us a chance to reflect on our experiences head-on, through the lens of an outside perspective. It feels 1st person in the sense you are directly interacting with the environment, but 3rd person in the sense that you're examining another life play out right before your eyes. CURTAIN effortlessly depicts toxic relationships to a "T", and, as others have pointed out, has a firm grasp on the nuances and contradictions that happen in these scenarios. Highly, highly recommend if you have a half hour to spare.
