Hey, I just tried out 14 Days With You today. It was a great experience so far! I'm for sure a fan or RomHorror. This is one that i will be purchasing when it comes out on steam. Already added it on my wish list.
I'm very interested in seeing how the story plays out further. I got my first "dead end" on day 4. I thought my game was having an error loading the 5th episode, but it's fine. lol I don't think this counts as spoilers because it's just speculation but i am so curious whats going on with Ren. It seems like there is a technical yet supernatural element going on with him. Is he a ghost? is he a program come to life? I'm not sure. but then he has a house and someones he messages? so maybe he's real? I'm also debating between whether Ren has multiple personalities and if there might be a totally separate stalker/killer on the loose. Ren seems to have two distinct sides to him but the sweet one doesn't seem worried about letting MC get close to him in fear of another personality coming out. So, I don't know! Overall, it adds a really nice mystery to the story that kept me guessing and engaged. Everyone's so dang cute too. It's nice that the MC has personality traits of their own along with our decision making. They are consistently zoning out and have holes in their memory, they also rationalize and dismiss a lot but not enough that they become unrealistic. Like they dismiss cloths not being piled like they thought or a cup being darker then they remember, but the bigger things will get called out. That's great and really important. Likewise, I like that Ren has a habit of consistently muttering to himself.
There's one mechanic that i don't fully understand and that's when i noticed the little hearts by characters names changing. I'm assuming that for the MC's level of love and friendship between them. If that is an affinity bar, I guess one critiques is that there aren't many options to raise affinity with the other characters yet.
