this is an incredibly sweet zine that reminds the importance of messages like, "done, not perfect," and "good enough." i was smiling the whole way through.
my favorite part of reading through this zine was seeing the range of art styles and subject matter. the way the written works were formatted too were such a delight... i love you doodles accompanying written works. how joyous!
i really enjoyed the inclusion of commentary from the zine participants. some of their passages really resonated with me, and reminded me of my own creative process. i'm very grateful that people chose to be vulnerable and share these aspects of themselves. i hope they remember that they aren't alone.
big love to everyone involved on this project!!! i'm looking forward to seeing future projects from ensquare events!
side note: if this is the first issue of good enough, mayhaps i will join the next one... (i thought about joining this one but didn't because of time constraints... though maybe that too, is it's own form of perfectionism! LOL)
