i looove the concept behind this zine. visual development, especially for interiors is one of my favorite things to see!!! i wish i knew about this earlier because i would have loved to participated; everyone's entries are so full of love and thoughtful references. the way the writing and art synergizes together does a great job of simulating that catalog feel!!! happy pokemon day. thank you so much for bringing this out into the world.
(and by any chance would you consider making an email list for when you announce applications for new projects? or any other way to be notified that isn't really tied to social media. you make a lot of cool projects with fun and interesting layouts....!!!)
this is an incredibly sweet zine that reminds the importance of messages like, "done, not perfect," and "good enough." i was smiling the whole way through.
my favorite part of reading through this zine was seeing the range of art styles and subject matter. the way the written works were formatted too were such a delight... i love you doodles accompanying written works. how joyous!
i really enjoyed the inclusion of commentary from the zine participants. some of their passages really resonated with me, and reminded me of my own creative process. i'm very grateful that people chose to be vulnerable and share these aspects of themselves. i hope they remember that they aren't alone.

side note: if this is the first issue of good enough, mayhaps i will join the next one... (i thought about joining this one but didn't because of time constraints... though maybe that too, is it's own form of perfectionism! LOL)
lumi has made such a gorgeous PDF for his splatoon OCs.. my eyes were hooked throughout all 70+ pages!!! the way she infuses layout design with gesture-based illustrations is absolutely gorgeous.
my favorite part was seeing the progression of dani, violet, and alina's designs (+ the art growth too!)... the inspiration that splatoon has given feels so evident throughout this entire PDF! especially with the commentary. so much personality here <3
i highly recommend this PDF for anyone who loves splatoon or OCs! reading through this really inspired me... it really reminded me of the importance of making your ocs exist, and how rewarding that can be.

absolutely gorgeous zine that presents digital clutter in such a transformative way. the cmyk themeing is so clever given the irony of the works being "digital" but it also makes for an incredibly cohesive zine. life changing. zines that will make you remember that hey, zines can really be anything you want. and i think that's awesome :)
