I absolutely love this! The skull giving the tutorial is a fantastic touch, it totally reminds me of Bob from The Dresden Files!

This is a great take on an endless wave-ish game. I really enjoyed the queues and having to rush around to pick up and drop off the corpses. The dark aesthetic is a perfect fit, and it all comes together for a really fun game.

Great job!

This is such a unique and creative game! I'm really impressed with what you accomplished in just a four day game jam. The music and art are both fantastic.

It took me a while to figure out what was going on, and I'm not sure I ever fully grasped all the mechanics, but that's probably just me! The pace felt a little slow at times, which might have been related to my confusion. I kept wanting to use my mouse to interact with things, especially the spell book, but it was clear what keys to press.

Overall, great job on a very cool and original concept!

What a fun take on the endless runner! It reminded me of playing Frogger. It was a lot of fun, especially the part where you have to navigate through tight groups of floaters to get speed boosts near each other. Great job!

This is a really interesting concept and a fun game to play!

I did get caught in a tricky spot at the end of the first loop. My health was ticking down while I was trying to read all the gift options for the first time. I didn't realize the health was decreasing, so I ended up dying while trying to figure out which gift to choose. It might be helpful to pause the game during those moments so new players have a chance to read and think without the pressure of losing health.

Overall, it's a great concept and an enjoyable game. Great job!

I really enjoyed playing this! Watching the board get bigger was super satisfying.

It took me a little while to figure out the controls since I didn't notice the tool tips at first. A short intro or walkthrough would be a huge help for players like me who haven't heard of KOROMEKE before. Once I understood the rules, though, the game was very simple to grasp and a lot of fun.

Great work on this entry!

Post your stats screen and show it off to everyone!  Let's see who can get the furthest!
Here is my best so far.

This is a great puzzle game! I really enjoyed the overall concept and mechanics. The art and sounds were also very nice and fit the game well.

I do have a small suggestion: when a puzzle is lost, it might be helpful to have a prompt to restart pop up in the middle of the screen. I found myself waiting a bit before I realized I needed to restart and where to find the button.

This is a fun game and a great entry!

Your game's retro CRT theme and art design are fantastic! The audio fits perfectly and really sells the aesthetic.

I had a tough time getting the hang of the gameplay and found myself dying pretty quickly on each loop. I'm sure I'm just missing a key mechanic, but it was hard for me to figure out what to do.

Overall, it's a super cool concept! Great job!

Thanks, I really appreciate the comment.

Yeah, I don't recommend the web version, but provide it as an option for convenience,  as its scale is smaller and performance isn't as good.

Yes, my feature list includes elements that would transform this into a more traditional roguelike, such as power-ups every so many rounds, etc. However, time was limited, so we will see where it goes after the jam.

Adding user indicator for when you are pointing at the dead zone is another feature I have on my list that didn't make the cut. However, it is one I may try to get into the game if I can find time tonight or early tomorrow.

I already have a user indicator when the ship cannot shoot because it gets hit by a pulse that disables its weapon. This is an enemy that has a slight chance of appearing later, after wave 5, I think.  However, I don't think it would work for pointing at the dead zone, but I have been noodling on it for days.

Thanks for playing and providing feedback. I hope to keep working on it after the jam.
