super valid, ty. i played it so much during development i think i got too desensitized and then kinda forgot how vague and opaque it felt to get hit lolll.

TLDW: teleport/jump/slide can all be used together, back-to-back, to generate nearly infinite i-frames. and then the turtles will change direction based on where you are, relative to them, the relevant lane.
really appreciate that, thank you! and great feedback about i-frames, i was getting pretty frustrated towards the end getting it to feel polished haha so ya a very valid critique.
i'm proficient in Reaper (DAW), but i have yet to add music / sound to any of my games and this jam made me realize how important it is. next game i def want to commit to not cutting my sound scope haha.
I'm excited to check out your game! the cover art looks to dieeee for.

solo dev, 2nd gamejam, and 4th game. tysm! :))))))))))))
the way my fingers were click-clack-clackin' across my keyboard is a testament to how badly i wanted to beat this game; i got soooo close on my second try, but alas, victory is fickle - tho i will very likely return to beat it soon.
love the art, the music and it's buildup, the gameplay, the difficulty. i still don't really know what's happening and honestly, i don't wanna know, cause that's the fun of it, trial and error with different strategies until i win.
really great job! gives me Overcooked vibes .
my favorite game of the jam so far and i'm thrilled to announce that i managed to beat it with a Total score of 16070. the art, the level design, the difficulty, the uniqueness of power-ups (that then also change the look of your bee in a meaningful way!?), etc., etc., etc.; i loved watching my Bee fly down rainbow road with a steel helmet, cozy robe, and an ice warfan.
