i very much appreciate the feedback, thank you Pff.

ha! thank you!

ahh that makes me so happy to hear! tysm for playing and for the feedback <3

the way my fingers were click-clack-clackin' across my keyboard is a testament to how badly i wanted to beat this game; i got soooo close on my second try, but alas, victory is fickle -  tho i will very likely return to beat it soon.

love the art, the music and it's buildup, the gameplay, the difficulty. i still don't really know what's happening and honestly, i don't wanna know, cause that's the fun of it, trial and error with different strategies until i win.

really great job! gives me Overcooked vibes .

ty otter! i was not familiar with Chip's Challenge, but i've educated myself via youtube and i lovee the comparison.

my favorite game of the jam so far and i'm thrilled to announce that i managed to beat it with a Total score of 16070. the art, the level design, the difficulty, the uniqueness of power-ups (that then also change the look of your bee in a meaningful way!?), etc., etc., etc.; i loved watching my Bee fly down rainbow road with a steel helmet, cozy robe, and an ice warfan.

genius

wow color pallet is stunning

love the game over animation screen

i'm having a little trouble playing (i'm running the "Ebug.exe" file). it starts fine, but when they go to the forest, the game shrinks down a bunch and seems unresponsive.

could def be user error on my part, but figured i'd mention.

leaderboard feature is genius

tens across the board! gameplay is super fun and the art is stunning.

oh this is too funny. the animations and art style are to die for!

sameee

so cute!

the art is so cute! and the attack sfx sounds are satisfying. took me a minute to get used to the mechanics, but once i did i had a great time watching my bug army do their thing - great concept.

one piece of feedback i could give - maybe an sfx volume slider. sfx sounds are maybe a tad louder than in-game music. (but ofc 48hours doesn't lend itself very well to "nice to have" QoL features!)

i like the strategy/RPG elements, the music is great, and the auto-attack feature is a great quality of life add. art style is super cute too and buying from the shop is fun - getting to increase my attack radius was really satisfying.

one potential thing you could add - during the gameplay maybe have power ups that spawn randomly on the map and you have to click them fast to get them else they disappear; just to add a little more variety to the game mechanic! but of course features vs time limit is always a factor in game jams!

and bonus funny note - after year ~7 i was able to buy Chain Lightning, Shatter, and Ignite in one go. and then Year 8 and 9 i beat in like 5 seconds whereas it was taking me prolly >30seconds to beat the years before it lol! buying all power ups and then re-roll to buy more is an OP strat :)

really appreciate that, thank you!

ahhh haha thank you!! your feedback on movement and WASD is really helpful.

it's such a funny experience playing this several hours after finishing it.

i played it hundreds of times in development, was so sick of it. but now that i get to sit back and experience it as intended...i have to say...i'm thrilled with how it turned out and i feel i executed on my vision. and the music by CalmnWhistle24 gave me the jukebox idea which just elevates the whole game (playing both songs at once is such a vibe, imho).
thanks Chloe and Theo for hosting such a great Spring 2D Jam '26!

respect to Fire Emblem devs cause coding turn-based combat for the first time was ROUGH.
