We tried too on three PC's.
All Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit Mate Edition. Nvidia 750 Ti, Nvidia 960, Nvidia 1060.
It ran pretty flawless. We all had one issue. The Mouse-Pointer never disappeared in ego-perspective.
And one of our players had a 5:4 monitor with 1280x1024 resolution which was not recognized correctly. (which wasnt a big deal).
Great prototype so far!
EDIT: And I noticed that the ReadMe.txt file is missing in the Linux version.
