How are the movement controls in general? What more would you expect the game to have?

I'm in the process of adding the action animations and extended the current animations to be 8 sided.
(I have fully functional 8 sides walking, running, jumping and digging)

You providing this for free helped me a lot to bootstrap
and I'd be glad to contribute back!
