Hey, thanks. Where are you using the keys? To use the Q special you need to fill your FOCUS bar, you do that collecting the drink that's on one of the tables in the Colt Saloon. The only interaction you have for F in the game is picking up the shotgun also in the saloon above the name in the bar.

There's another drink hidden in the level, that'll be for you to find :)
