That was a ton of fun! Thank you for making it.

The only place I got really stuck was in needing to push into walls in the hall of portraits to activate something that I must have missed a bunch of times, and I leave the note here in case I'm not the only one who started to get frustrated.

Not being experienced with RPG Maker games I did get caught up on trying to do stuff the game engine didn't want (like assuming I needed to manually activate key items).

I thought this was a really wonderful way to experience the dungeon, and I laughed a lot at the various death-traps and recognisable elements  that had already passed into the 'have you heard about' territory.

This definitely feels like the way to experience it, with the rapidfire saving and loading making it feel more like an entertaining museum exhibit to game designer sadism rather than what I assume would have been an intensely oppressive adventure in the original context.

Cheers again, really appreciate y'all making a piece of RPG history this accessible.

Thank you, I kept searching through the menus convinced I'd missed it xD

Is there a way to rest in this game? Can't figure it out if there is
