I love the shooting from  the wall now with the update, I think the animation looks really cool, I think not being able to see the health of the mobs really kept me tuned in because I didn't know when the last hit would be. I played this from work to try it out and only had a keyboard but I wasn't able to use Tab to open the level up screen, I dont know if that was just me or what though, I'll try again on my home comp with that keyboard to check though

I'm working on eventually adding one or two more areas to run around in with different backgrounds, not sure when I'll get it pushed out and working yet though, appreciate you checking out the Game, and for your reply

I enjoy the art style and fluidity of movement, I would like to see the character auto shoot away from the wall when you are wall sliding, both for the shooting and sword attack, there was a moment where the character clipped from wall slide but it didnt detract from beating up the robo dudes lolol, i tried to no hit the run and after like 6 or 7 attempts still need to practice before getting it lolol (im gonna def try to get it though)

the menu switch was really interesting and my only suggestion would be in the game description possibly adding the controls, i at first thought there was only a sword attack (this is prob a me thing though mostly lolol)

I was thinking of doing something very similar to this, set up a way for the game to track how many minutes has passed by checking the timer variable i have now and then as the mins go up have it add a certain amount to the enemy mob speed, then an amount to health and damage or other things as well; I havent fully fleshed it out but this is the same track i was feeling so i appreciate the feedback to see others are thinking along the same lines as I have been

I just played through this a bit cuz it's been a hot minute since checking it out and i LOVE the popup like "LONG DROP" and i got another one but i was cackling cuz i was pecking the shite outta the dudes lolol, I cant remember how to build the nest at the moment and I couldn't see it in the comments,  is building the nest still an aspect of the game? ALSO, the background layers moving asynchronously is a really nifty effect and i LOVE the silhouette trees, don't know what techniques you used to make them but DAMN! they are spot on lolol

I appreciate you checking it out! I thought that might be the case, but wasn't sure what would be too far away and what would be too close, I'm gonna change some numbers and try to add scaling over time difficulty increasing (<--- I tried to figure this out the other day for an hour or two and didn't progress much lolol)

I am not well-versed or knowledgeable in music composition or theory, however I am wanting to learn how to make functional game music for a side project I'm doing to learn how to code and I have played guitar for a while and I was not able to find anything in videos or the manual able being able to go from one note to either a higher or lower note without just adding the other note at the spot I want. In guitar the effect I am referencing is known as a bend, where a player hits the note(s) then physically bends the string(s) to get a higher note, or in reverse takes a pre-bent string for the higher note then after hitting it allows the string to revert down to the original note.

Would there be a way to add this into the system? (if this is ALREADY a feature and I just couldn't figure it out, apologies and can you let me know what that procedure is?)

I didnt realize for a sec why i wasnt able to fly, lolol but i eventually used my overwhelming hard to find skills of looking at things hahahah, that's pretty awesome to control the flight time in this way and the graphics on the meter are cool too

HOLY!!!! look at all the work on this game so far!!! lolol i am SLACKING, lolol all my terrains are just one place holder block mostly, well done your effort definitely shows AND is inspiring for me to stay motivated on my own project and learning!
