this is so cool! i wonder how hard it would be to add a feature that can trim out pieces of a recording that you dont like, and smoothly blend the cut? quite a few longer ambient audio files have random ugly parts in them that are awkward to remove.

Yeah, id like to get quite detailed on the peoples lives. I will have to limit it fairly severely to the basics to get something playable and then continue to work on it afterwards. Its too easy to get all the ideas and want to go full dwarf fortress on it ;)

I'm doing an under water colony building game. The inhabitants will need to be able to make a living for themselves, so you will have to balance their needs with the needs of the growing city as a whole.
