so SO great. i love the speculative biology here, and Applecore's voice is so immersive and full of character. i sometimes find myself skimming when i'm reading on a screen, but here the prose and atmosphere was so strong i found myself glued to every word. five stars, makes me wish it was winter and i was snuggled up in a warm cosy gnome den

this was absolutely stunning! the first few pages hooked me and the rest kept me utterly glued to the screen. read the whole thing through twice + definitely going to be revisiting it again in the future.
