Really fun game reminds me of mario vs donkey kong. Also really good job on the sound design. The bouncing even when all of the ants were jumping at the same time. I was not sure if I was missing it but it would be nice to be able to keep your current set up and just move your stuff around a little bit. I found it hard to replicate what almost worked on the later levels. Great entry though I hope to see more!

Thank you for your feedback, I will have to fix the night button. I wonder if this caused an error with the energy calculation. You should start off with 3 energy(cost is 1 or 2 depending on the card.) then it should increase your energy by the number of guests you have. Maybe the system tried to calculate the new energy but it didn't have anything to add so it got messed up. I'll have to test when I get home tonight.
Eventually I want to make more cards and allow the user to open packs to get more options in their decks. The rarer cards will cost more energy, I do think it's a little bit too much energy per cryptid at the moment though.
Thank you for playing!
This game was very fun and felt retro. It reminded me of playing games on my gameboy color as a kid. One thing that almost got me is that I didn't know how to start the game initially maybe putting a exclamation mark over the farmers head would be a good indication that you can talk to him. I don't know why in my mind I didn't think to try to interact with the farmer. Overall really good game!
Fantastic game, I loved the sound of the acorn going around the wheel. I liked the art of the animals and the power ups. Also how do the physics work for the acorn it felt really solid and natural. A fun addition might be giving the user a counter pick. Where the user can pick Red 7 and if it lands on red 7 Zero performs a counter attack, I just thought it would be fun to allow the user to bet on their favorite number too lol. Over all great game!
This game got an audible chuckle out of me when I heard the sheep and dog sounds. 10/10 no notes on the sound. The game play was fun too, I got lucky on my second level because 2 sheep spawned in the zone and I was able to complete it in 4 barks. The game is lovely and probably one of my favorites from the Jam so far.
I loved the art and the whole vibe of the game it was very relaxing, also I really appreciated the guide because I have never used a machine like this. Maybe having a little recipe book that the user could reference would be a nice addition so they don't have to leave the game to view the steps. I think my favorite part was the music though, it instantly gave me a cozy vibe.
Game was fun and I loved the intro our ending scenes. Also the Acorn is adorable. The sound of the coins was a little bit too long and I initially found it hard to find what I could land on until I realized that at the beginning you show that if there is no border on an object that you won't land on it and if there is you will. I like that good job!
