You can return to the last checkpoint by hitting the 'r' key and the game autosaves at each checkpoint or item pickup so you shouldn't lose much progress even if you closed the game. Thanks for playing!
I love the look and feel of this, jumping off the top and watching the frog fade into the background as the camera fails to keep up is such a natural ending
I realized shortly after posting my comment that you must be talking about a genre concept based on Treasure the developer and not a game called Neotreasurecore that happened to have the same camera mechanics that this game landed on. Probably should have deleted my question at that point, oops, but thanks for the answer. Your friend is right though this does very much feel like a Treasure game if those guys were still around and also saturated with zoomer culture.
