thanks for playing! that message happened due to a copy paste error, the network code i used for this was from another project and i accidentally had it sending that response whenever you disconnected, oops! (you were never actually IP banned) i've fixed that issue now along with the disconnect that would happen with the browser version if you tabbed away.
as for what you're supposed to do, just enjoy your time as a flower
it makes more sense if there are other players with you, since talking can be a bit of a challenge if youre too small or too big

the main way you engage with the game is by chatting with other people, you're meant to struggle somewhat with the text size changing as you grow
but there's not much to do if you're playing on your own
i intended to allow you to be reborn as a seed when your flower matures but i ran out of time to work on it, maybe ill put out a small update along with a fix for the disconnect bug you ran into, its not a real ip ban, just a mistake with the error handling, sorry!
Sorry about that! I made a mistake with the tile collision, it's fixed on my end and I'll put up a new version soon. Though I did enjoy watching my friends get stuck in that spot...
You can return to the last checkpoint by hitting the 'r' key and the game autosaves at each checkpoint or item pickup so you shouldn't lose much progress even if you closed the game. Thanks for playing!
I love the look and feel of this, jumping off the top and watching the frog fade into the background as the camera fails to keep up is such a natural ending
I realized shortly after posting my comment that you must be talking about a genre concept based on Treasure the developer and not a game called Neotreasurecore that happened to have the same camera mechanics that this game landed on. Probably should have deleted my question at that point, oops, but thanks for the answer. Your friend is right though this does very much feel like a Treasure game if those guys were still around and also saturated with zoomer culture.
