This is something in the spirit of "Castlevania" (NES) :-) (knocking objects out of candelabra). In fact, it is a bad practice to use sliding for a player character (given that he is not on the ice). Overall it's pretty funny and I like this graphics :-)

And by the way, these bird icons are stunning impressive in their minimalism!

And don't forget me, I just love birds :-) And I'm also a big fan of pixel graphics!

It looks really amazing, bravo! The water is especially impressive. But, as mentioned here, the transition from grass to home needs to be finalized :-)
