This game is pretty cool actually, with boss fights and music, i wish there were more sound effects tho, like when hitting an enemy or picking up an item
I don't know french, so i spent most the time just walking around until i found a pumpkin with a smiley face and when i touched it the screen went black and i couldn't do anything
I think this is just one of the best game jam games ive played, compared to most this one has a lot of features that most game jam games dont, like a pause menu or boss fights.
overall the game is great, i would have loved to see more attacks in the game besides just swiping in front of the player
originally i was going to have all the clothes just wait in line behind waiting for their turn, and then i was going to have Special Abilities at the bottom that you could select and then manually attack whatever unit you wanted with right click, that way you could use both mouse buttons and it would be more engaging. but i couldnt get that done in time
Actually pretty fun game, very fast and simple to understand, but i think it might be too simple for the fact that i just kinda always chose whatever had better numbers for me, am i gonna fight the enemy with 20hp or the one with 45hp, hmm i wonder am i gonna drink the potion that heals 3hp, or the one that heals 1. it just seemed too easy so i made. i made it to floor 73 on my 1st run and 92 on my 2nd
Fun game about top down wizards shooting at enemies chasing them (i have a game very similar to that for a different game jam from a few months ago). i beat the game as bizzy and then went to play as wizzy, but when i made it to the final boss the 2nd time, he bugged out and only had 1hp so i killed the boss instantly and won it again
it took me a minute to figure out what to do, but then i realized it was a sequence game where you just tell the person your instructions to move at the right times. and then once i finally realized how to play. the game ended and i had beaten it on accident. It's very short but not bad
I spent a lot of time working on this jam and it was super fun to do. I haven't pushed myself to try and make a game so fast so it was a good challenge for me and I'm glad i did it
The game is cute, but a little buggy (get it cause ur a bug), sometimes the bird would just teleport across the screen fly backwards or move crazy fast, and if you hit w you just instantly win, and space bar resets the game. i think with a little more polish it could be more fun, but its alright
Button mashing likely could have been fixed with some sort of mana system. or by using the same spell over and over you cast it slower or something, causing you to stop using it as much, but even without those challenges the game is still pretty difficult.
we in the team had loads of ideas for things we wanted to add into the game, but due to a variety of reasons (such as me having my wisdom teeth pulled during the jam). we had to limit ourselves into getting the game basic and working, and had to leave out some of the more time consuming features like better bosses, and more spells, and sound effects/background music.
