noice game, i agree the game loop is addicting. I see a ton of potential and I have a cool idea. This could be a survival game with proceduarl generated world, predators, and more features!

yeah I actually added a welhilm scream and a bunch of smacking sounds when they get hit! thx for the suggestion! I might make it so that the pitches are randomized!

physics is really fun tho the box physics is very pleasing viusally and gameplay wise too

i did figure out tho that i could exploit the game by just doing a flappy bird and not manipulating gravity at all

it looks like a baby with an oversized tshirt or an oversized diaper. I think it looks great, you could prob change the height of the baby to make the diaper fit, or you can keep it cuz it looks kinda funny, its jerbobs jam after all, keep it silly and have fun lol, dont overthink it. Honestly thinking abt it the oversized diaper gimmick would actually make since and would be hilarious.

indeed. loading sprites would  be a good idea! number 5 would be a topdown game engine much light pocket platformer but for making sokoban games are small rpg's etc.

If i want to add more features to my game and go beyond the limitations of pocket platformer, how could I do that?

1. Snow particles

2. Music for the start screen

3. Possibly bullets for shooting enemies

4. resizing of pixel canvas for every object not just the player

5. a seperate engine called Tiny Topdowner lol

6. the ability to change dialogue sounds for different npcs

7. Screen shake when jumping (option button) or landing.
