the dev log shows android mac and pc files but the downloads only has android, what's up with that

hey I just got around to playing the update and was having the affection issue despite getting all right answers in the quiz and making what feel like the right decisions elsewhere (heck until now I didn't even know affection existed in this game, is this the first choice that requires it?) but the file worked thanks

I've played alot more now than when I made that comment and most of it has more consistency and doesn't look or feel ai but then occasionally one comes up and my gut is just screaming at me that something is wrong

within the first 2 minutes there are 3 different images of the sister of vastly different quality and style it's very jarring and makes it hard to not to think that the portrait one is ai because of how different it is to the other 2, then the first class dream with the dean has 2 consecutive images that have some of the details that ai fails to keep consistent change from one image to the next (hair length for example was the main thing that jumped out at me, it's like 30% shorter in one of them compared the the one before it) and her character is the most ai looking amplifying the feeling

the main thing isn't quality it's the differing style even in the same character, like willow especially sometimes it feels like someone else had to have made some of the images cause it's just that different, the body features and shading style change completely from one image to the next

one thing that I had seen pointed out that gives the gut feeling of ai art is extreme contrast but an overall neutral value (if you take the image make it greyscale and normalise the value across the whole image you get a neutral grey tone) because it starts out as black and white noise and is iterated until it resembles what it's supposed to, giving you very bright highlights and very dark shadows that most artworks don't use (and most professional artists I've seen on youtube recommend avoiding extreme value and saturation ranges unless you want it to look incredibly unnatural so that tracks with what I've learned about art), which is probably why the dean feels ai because of the very contrasty specular highlights and the very dark blue shadows

on a more positive note I am enjoying it quite a bit, just occasionally the art is jarringly inconsistent (sorry if it comes across as otherwise but I am trying to be constructive here)

I don't buy that only the backgrounds are ai, you say solo dev so you're the only one working on it but the use and style of specular highlights, cell shading and soft shading varies way too much and all in ways that I've seen in ai generated images, and that's not to mention the text box portrait not matching the on-screen character art

I mean I just started but the preview shots had me questioning it since the style and lighting/shading are consistent with what I've seen ai do and then getting to the completely different in-scene Mom and portrait Mom I gotta question it

I'll never find out, while writing that comment I realised this was never going to be something I care much for; I don't like 99% of NTR (they tend to be creepily obsessive about comparing to the boyfriend/husband, and the humiliation etc. elements just tend to make me uncomfortable), I only tried it because the premise seemed interesting but it's way too dramatic for me to really even start enjoying it, plus not exactly shocked just really weirded out.

I REALLY didn't expect much since it's a parody game and "corruption" is in the name, both things that are more often poorly executed to put it nicely, but this is some good shit. looking forward to future updates

the bad end from the 2nd choice is one of the most absurd thing I've seen in a VN

this whole thing (between non celebrities) wouldn't even make a footnote in local news, and while it would affect your relationships with people who find out (some people would avoid you while others might even get close to you because of it, be it curiosity or some other reason), your boss might put you into a lower position at your job to avoid potential scrutiny but I highly I doubt you'd lose it, them being basically nobodies and forced into hiding and having their lives irreparably scarred over it...

it's so absurd it could have been funny if the way it was told wasn't so overly serious, but because it's a dreary depressing bad end with ominous and sad music it's just really really weird, really weird

if you want to say something and can't absolutely guarantee it just add "hopefully"; in this case if you'd said "this release hopefully means chapter 1 will release soon" this way it comes across as less of a promise and more as just expressing a personal goal, and if it doesn't happen then it's less disappointing to your fans.

having played the prologue now I'm very curious where this goes, btw in my previous comment I was just poking a little fun, I wasn't really meaning anything

yo, can we get a non mega dl option? it's the only site that ever gives me any problems, it'll just stop downloading and never resumes (and I'm not talking about the bandwidth limit), I don't mind slow but I do want to get the dl eventually

and the weird way it handles downloads where it does some weird internal transfer thing or whatever and then you get a file download popup and it downloads almost instantly, it's inconvenient too cause I can't just set it to download and come back to it being on my pc, if I decide to do something on my pc while it downloads it'll pull focus from whatever application I'm on to download it proper

and now the resume for free timer keeps adding hours after it finishes and I reload or hit resume

just started but it says "This prologue update is a sign that it [Chapter 1] will be out soon" so I look at the devlogs and the release was 160 days ago... "soon"  looks like in the latest devlog the progress bars for chapter 1 part 1 are about half full, just hope that means it's one of those games that are well polished before releases (and not one where the dev keeps adding and changing things forever and eventually just gives up) but maybe refrain from promising "soon" in the future

I really liked part 1 but in part 2 emily is just really damn annoying can't bring myself to bother with it if her character has gone from playful to outright manipulative I don't really wanna know what happens with the rest of the old characters and how you've decided to handle the new characters, shame

also while I didn't get far I did notice that the way days are handled makes the game significantly more tedious compared to the already grindy system the first part has

not a fan of disabling rollback and q.save/q.load when there are options, this game has a sense of humour and I want to explore without having to manually save at ever choice to see the various outcomes

and my dyslexia has me going back every like 5 lines to double check a word (I can use history there but it's way more awkward than scroll up), or I'll see something in a previous frame and want to go back to double check what it was because I only noticed it right as 
I clicked but can't and my last save was too far back to bother loading and I'd need to use skip and I'd probably skip over it

and sharing isn't NTR, atleast to english speakers since we use the word sharing, NTR is exclusively used to refer to cheating or stealing girls and almost always cringy fukbois stealing girls. yes I know netorase exists but the only time I see people use it is to say "well akshually sharing is NTR because of this other japanese word that people don't commonly use" to which the answer is when people use that and aren't trying to hate or push for the inclusion of full blown NTR they use NTS to differentiate them

lastly not liking sharing with other males is a breeding instinct (females can't impregnate your girl) and so long as they stay with you it's all just fun

those ai generated, concept art like, sketches distract the shit out of me, every time one comes up I need to scan it over for where things don't make sense cause that's just what I do when I see something that feels ai and even tho after the first one I was 99% sure and 100% sure at this point I still feel the need to find the errors, like I'm fine tuning my ai detector skills or something dumb like that.

I can understand the discomfort some might have if they assume the character are cheating on the other game's mc, the only time cheating of any form doesn't bother me is when the one being cheated on is neglecting, cheating themselves, or abusing the character that is cheating.

personally I'd assume they're just references to the other game and not the exact same character unless they reference events from the other game then I'd probably feel iffy about it, and obviously mentioning a partner would just make everything feel wrong

another comment talks about "multiple partners for women" making guys uncomfortable then a sarcasm quote about harems, and I've thought about it because I'm one of those guys that sees a women with multiple men as being inherently wrong but the other way around with a guy with multiple women as inherently neither right nor wrong

I came to the conclusion that it's probably got something to do with instincts, broadly speaking a male instinctively wants to impregnate as many healthy women as possible to ensure their bloodline and therefore the chance that another could possibly impregnate their mate before/instead of them makes them against the idea, whereas a woman just wants strong offspring and other women being with their mate doesn't prevent that so (atleast to a male) a male with multiple females feels natural and a female with multiple males feels wrong

there are ofcourse other influences such as culture, if monogamy isn't culturally enforced and your society is able to grow then stigma around multiple partners in general would reduce if not vanish entirely but I'm not aware of any where that has ever been the case as religion is often the main source of sexual restrictions in a society and most religions encourage or enforce a monogamous lifestyle and those that don't only allow for men to have multiple partners (and generally only those at the top of their hierarchy [kings, powerful warriors/military leaders, or religious leaders) likely due to my personal reasoning above
