To run on Mac for this current build, what you're going to do is unzip the file and then double-click on the actual app itself and click "Show Package Contents." Then, you're going to navigate to the MacOS folder and you should see a document titled "The Farthest View."

Now, open Terminal and type in: sudo chmod +x

AND THEN, DRAG AND DROP "The Farthest View" document from the MacOS folder onto the Terminal window, it should automatically fill in with the file location path. HIT ENTER.

It might ask you for your computer password (this is just so the terminal can do its thing) and then try opening the file. It's going to give you a warning about not being able to verify security. Go into your Settings, hit Privacy & Security, and then scroll down until you see "The Farthest View can't be opened due to security concerns." 

HIT OPEN ANYWAY. It will automatically boot in fullscreen.

Such a beautifully and thoughtful well written visual novel. While it requires almost no mechanics and minimal choice from us as the player, you feel so interconnected with Alex that you live vicariously through him. Without spoiling it, if there's one visual novel of any genre you consider playing - it should be this one. I can't wait to see if there's a sequel.
