So, I will preface this with the fact that these issues seemed to resolve upon restart and I did grab a copy of the log file (not sure if it was too late, though), but I was experiencing two bugs - the cabin scene (just after Alex has a panic attack), and the first meeting in Mayhew's tower.

For the cabin - despite multiple attempts - keeping it serious with Nick and Connor, turning off that one little setting that would indicate a certain interest, etc., and selecting a majority of the vampire influence settings (playing as wary but open minded, still getting vampire influence specific dialogue it would seem) - Alex was always greeted by Connor when he wakes up. Since this was a file where I want to try and romance Mayhew, the aim is to have Seth there when Alex wakes up instead. I was planning to keep trying different combinations, but I remembered the old 'turn it on and off again' method to fix things and that did resolve them.

The second one, I only noticed because of the first (I realised it was an additional oddity in all the skipping). Although I was selecting the options of 'I'll help you with this, but I can't promise more than that', and, 'I may in time' (in response to Mayhew asking if Alex trusts him), Mayhew told Alex to go home - and Alex woke up at the tower the next morning with Paolo instead of at his flat with Maxine.

Again, these issues did resolve when I restarted the game, so I'm assuming the issue was local/session based rather than a general issue in the code, but it couldn't hurt to be informative.

Ste? You either need to find someone to replace him, or fight her

I'm loving the frequent updates but my god do I get anxiety about how much content I haven't explored yet 馃槀

It is something a little confusing about the update because it refers to 'crocs'.

Bradley is not an RO, nor will he be in future. There are six romance options throughout the Superstition series - the only ones that you can specifically pursue in Season 1 are Sydero and Chris, but this may change in the rewrite. The remaining four are spoilers; but it's an even ratio of guys and gals.

Spoilers for people who haven't played the game yet below (hopefully it'll actually cut the message off)

Damn, not everyone having a justifiable K somewhere 馃槶 I've not gotten very far yet, but it's an intriguing start!

Alas, I figured as much 馃槩Shouldn't have trusted the man to be honest, but hey, I was only going down that route to get the last ending anyway. Much prefer ending B!

Just so I know I'm not doing anything wrong, is it possible to get ending A without having to kill your opponent in the second fight? 馃槄 Or is the dialogue later a bit of a red herring?

Experienced a bug on the third map where I was unable to activate the first merchant spot?

The moves that say "I'm sorry, Flea, but I care and I will put that into my actions and words and there's nothing you can do about that" really get to me lol

I love how sassy the 'stoic' type of options can be. He's shocked when you say you'll take the job pro-bono and you can just stare him down. He tries to get out the car? Nuh-uh, I'm locking the doors.

The poly option in the game is Sydero and Amari

It happens sometimes with certain games. Generally you can click 'ignore', which should continue the game (though does come with the risk of additional errors).

It's through the Defend Bareshade event - you need to encourage Logan to go after the bandits himself, instead of bolstering Bareshade's defences.

Just finished the demo, and it was a delight! Things flowed well, and though sentences did run on a bit at times, I was enjoying myself too much to notice more often than not XD

I'm including a list of minor typos I noticed as I went through, just to hopefully help out!

  • It鈥檚 hard to believe you鈥檙e doing this. You鈥檙e going to be working for yourself. Picking your clients, culminating your image.

The phrase is 'cultivating your image', so I'm assuming this is a typo that got autocorrected or something similar.

  • Before he can answer, someone pushes past you roughly, causing you to hit your side against a nearby seat. Markus quickly steps in front of you protectively. You鈥檙e unsure of the look that Markus gives the person but it was enough to stop them in their tracks. Maybe they thought Markus looked far to nice to be rude to.

This whole paragraph takes place before M tells you their name, so it was a bit early for that.

  • I nod softly, not really wanting the book or to be here any longer. I take it without saying another word."

This is the first option when parting ways with M and they give you their book; there's a " when no dialogue has occurred.

  • Cam nods, the bus hissing at its stop allowing you two to clamor on.

I'm assuming this is meant to be 'climb' or 'clamber', and not 'a group of noisy people shouting'.

Don't feel bad for taking the time! I think everyone prefers the quality of time than something rushed

I'm so frustrated with the new wiki right now just because there's so much data that's been lost or links that broke.

Just gotta remember that it's a matter of time and FANDOM's the reason for it going down. I just relied on it a lot.

Thank you for the update, just found out the wiki was nuked myself.

Oh, no, I got what you were saying entirely. It's the power of that choice - the fact that your character can be so hurt and not even be unjustified in it - and thus altering the trajectory of the story forever.

Personally, I very much enjoyed the ability to hate them, to hit them, etc., and then let them live, because like. Nobody would expect you to forgive someone who cut off your arm.

It's one of those things where I find the 'I hate your guts and in any other circumstance I wouldn't tolerate you' dynamic so interesting. But other things matter more to my MC in this case, and they don't want to just be the big scary murderer.

From what I know, at the party, on dancing streams, and at the arcade in town (with the DDR game)

I'll be honest. I don't do very well with horror, especially of the eldritch and cosmic varieties. It's one of those things for me. So I might get my own visit from Glitch tonight. But also - I took a chance on this story, and it was worth the risk. The horror wasn't too strong or intrusive, it built up naturally, and it was, well, good. The story flows incredibly well, and I'm frankly inspired by what you've done here. Nothing was out of place. And, well. I might not make it to the end of this ride, for my own sake - but I'm very eager to see where it goes.

I think all the Blackrunners are in some way. Mylo has this 'super-genius' talent, and he doesn't understand the purpose of hierarchies, which is a common trait you can see in autistic kids. Blackrunners have their mutations, the things that mark them as different as children... until they grow up. Like how an autistic person might learn to mask it when they get older. And apparently they usually excel in one of the Four over the others.

Nitro admittedly doesn't quite fit into the theory for me but also him having ESP - having psychometry - certainly is something different.

Last activity on their tumblr is December 2023, so... possibly?

Welp. I knew the update was coming 馃槀 Written down the details for the NPCs I'd encountered/the outfits I'd bought.

I know technically you don't need to start over for each save, but if I know anything about games, it's that updates go hand in hand with fresh saves, to avoid unexpected bugs.

The player has the ability to unlock 'inclinations', by trying out different things and finding themselves in different situations. All NPCs have their own inclinations, which will affect their decision-making and how the game makes them act (e.g., I have only ever had Forward NPCs accept a proposition if you approach them in the showers).

The new update has also just released and has a few different things you can choose as turn-ons and turn-offs (I haven't explored them yet myself), so that's something to be looking at.

Can I just ask what the 馃槇emoji means? Obviously the other two are friendship and love or affection, but I don't really understand what that one's supposed to be.

(1 edit)

There's a bug (or narrative inconsistency) in 0.4 that causes you to tell Jade you agreed to Stella's deal even when you chose to refuse.

They will start confronting you in the shower every time after you listen to them have sex, it's not the 'hiding from the RA' scene.

For men it's specifically chinos or slacks, iirc. So the vinyl pants wouldn't work, but I don't know what it says for women

You're most likely to hear them having sex on the weekend, but I think you might need to select the 'Set alarm for 7:00' option for the best chance? And once you do that, after waking you need to head straight for the showers.

For what it's worth, the tumblr links on this page and at the end of the demo are currently broken (they go to the wrong url, which no longer exists).

Is there a particular reason that the game needs to be played via the app? Or is it more of an ease of installation thing?

Also, the postcards don't seem to be available in the gallery.

Honestly, enjoyed the game immensely. There are some good mechanics here and the art's great, too.

The only thing I might say is that the 'Greedy Mystery' and 'Tanuki Mystery' achievements might be bugged, in that their hints don't disappear after unlocking them.

As far as I can tell, you need to keep listening in on them, and then going to take a shower. That's when the roommate's partner will approach you.
