Had a lot of fun and played for longer than I should have! Great visuals and very different experiences on each playthrough depending on the upgrades I was offered

Had a lot of fun with this one! The instructions were a bit hard to find as the controls were hidden in the credits menu of all places! and some controls weren't in the written documentation on the games page. But I was glad to discover E for the projectiles path and click to shoot. Discovering wall jump by accident saved me as well!

There are a lot of leaps of faith which normally in a platformer would be a bit of a downside but it actually leans in on the theme quite well in this case! I had to jump into the abyss and sometimes it seemed there was a platform and sometimes not which made me laugh.

Curious to see more! Cool aesthetic and the music lends to the atmosphere nicely.

I still haven't gotten the secret ending I'm hearing about so will probably play again!

So much personality! The expressions! The boil on everything! You guys did a great job building emotional connection to the monkeys. The cannon sequence was a great touch.

Hope to see you at loop!

Great idea to weave a warioware type game into the theme, lovely visuals too!

Any kind of visual flare to indicate winning or losing a minigame would have gone a long way to lessen any confusion over paying attention to if I did/did not lose a heart.

Was there consideration to make a mouse the input over WASD? There were some games I would lose because I couldn't move to where I needed to be in time.

I like the cutscene of ascending stairs between the games to show progress, I'd recommend the middle frame have the stairs visually shifted downwards a bit as at first it could be perceived that the stairs were cracking rather than symbolic of us moving up them!

Ohh another magical purple cat!

The theme led to a lot of lie deduction games it seems but this one is a real stand out. The consistency that everyone lies made the deduction more fun and a smart move to hold back on animating the characters to allow for every level to have a unique cast without any recurring models.

I also love the extra polish of the cat reacting when clicked on!

I see what you mean from the instructions that there could be a lot of potential as a multiplayer! I think the only thing lacking in this version is there doesn't seem to be much punishment for getting caught. Especially because it seems you can get killed in the lul after a successful assassination but before the next round?
A life system to get the 10 targets before dying 4 or so times would have been ideal!

Also at first I was very careful to wait until there was an opening in the crowd so I wouldn't hit someone innocent by mistake. After realising only the target can be hit I started running full speed everywhere and spamming attack like crazy lol.

Meanwhile I loved the presentation, all the little dudes have great design capturing different assassin tropes, the extra room that fades into existence was great and the 'dong' sound that plays when you get a hit somehow works beautifully with the eerie music, it always felt right. Well done!
