I plan to use the engine crafted through the TCOD tutorial as the base of my game. Presuming I consider my submission to be successful, it will look-and hopefully-play nothing like the result of following the tutorial. I intend to put the week or so I have spent noodling through ray-casting math until I could actually follow it to good use.

My question is this: I want to stick within the spirit of the jam! Would using the files for that that I have already assembled and compatibility/bug tested be using pre-existing resources, or is that a shade too far.

If it's just not right I'll be- if not happy to- willing to follow the tutorial again to make sure my submission is right in the eyes of the (7DRL)Lord.
