This is ours, would appreciate a comment! I dug the vibe of yours, I was just thinking about the old "The Thing" video game the other day.

I like the snow ambience and the vibe of the outdoor space. The jump scare really got me, although I think I might have triggered it early because I went to that building first and later on it seemed like I was supposed to go to that building and nothing new happened. Basically I was told to fix the circuit breaker and heat for some buildings, I did the circuit breaker but didn't know what to do about the heat, and when I went to that building there was something visible in the window but nothing else happened inside. The corruption scanner was an interesting mechanic but it was hard to figure out how to use, I think clearer start/end points and some sound effects would help.

Not sure how to run this - is it supposed to play in browser?

The song in level 1 is rad.

I died to the level 2 boss, was not sure what I needed to do.

Great sound design and lighting.

5195 points, died in the final wave. Great music, the multiple mid air dashes and diagonal dash felt very nice to control.

Thanks so much! Yes, I will definitely make some balance changes after the jam is over. I think chapter 5 is about as far as it's reasonable to get with the current difficulty, so congrats and thanks for playing!

I enjoyed the writing and it gave me a lot to think about. The reveal is pretty telegraphed, especially considering the game's title, which I think made the pacing feel slower than it otherwise would have. But I liked your take on things and I liked the Scarlett character.
