This game does a fantastic job at fitting the restrictions of the jam. Also the gameplay is incredibly well polished given the time restriction of the jam. Congrats on first place! You deserve it.

Thank you very much for your reply! By the way, if you are ever in need of a hand in working with Godot feel free to reach out to me. I have an ample list of resources I can refer you to and have some decent experience working with the interface.

Just checked this out and I absolutely love it! I am aspiring to create a deck builder of my own in the near future and seeing such a well thought out indie deck builder is a great inspiration! What engine are you using to create this game? I have worked a bit in LOVE 2D and Godot and was wondering if you have any suggestions in particular for a deck builder.

Edit: I am a tad slow on the uptake and noticed that the intro clearly shows "Made in Unity". Nevertheless, any suggestions from an accomplished game dev such as yourself would be greatly appreciated.

I forgot to mention, but we were able to get the web build to work. Still a rather primitive prototype, but our work can now be viewed. Hope you like it

Wonderful little game you made here. Captured the essence of the jam theme and the controls are intuitive and well put together. You should most definitely be proud of your creation. Great job.

A more clear indicator is in the works. Thank you for your feedback!

Love the stars rating idea. In post jam that would definitely be a fun idea to implement. Thank you for playing and your feedback!

Indeed, the game is most definitely in need of some difficulty tweaks as well as other quality changes. Thank you for playing and giving your feedback.

Our artists utilized a program/game called Smack Studio to take 2D pixel art and give it depth as well as skeletons to move the different parts of the model. The pixel art itself was made using Aseprite, a pixel art software. Both can be purchased on steam. Thank you for playing!

Phenomenal job all around! I love to see games that make the most of simple shapes and colors and your team pulled it off beautifully.

Thank you for playing! And yes, I would have loved for the possessed to draw fire from enemies. Due to the constraint of the jam, this could not be done, but I would love to see this realized post-jam.

Thank you for the feedback! The cursor will definitely be among the first fixes, post-jam.

Completely understandable. We have full intentions of quickly fixing it up post jam. Thank you for playing!

Ok, I held off on playing since the cover art did not catch my attention, but damn this is a solid game. The gameplay is very well polished for the limitations of the jam and it really gives off classic flash game vibes. Great work!

Correct, while the tip of the cursor does feel intuitive, I do not believe it is the best choice considering the fact that it ends up shifting the body towards the direction of the rotation alongside the change in the direction of propulsion.  Should you decide to edit your work, I wish you the best of luck.

Graphics, sounds, and overall mood get top marks from me. I loved the bounce mechanic and how it could be utilized to score points more reliably than just turning to the nearest button. I will say, however, that the focal point from which the cursor can rotate could use some work. I also found the way that the walls redirected the way the cursor is facing to be rather frustrating. Nevertheless, I think you did a great job for this game jam.

Seeing that you made this game in the limited time of this jam is a great inspiration for me to continue pushing forward as a game developer. Incredible job across the board. Also, we need a standalone Hex Paint. It was a blast.

Omg, I saw you talking about this in the discord during the jam. I didn't think much of it, but this is actually too funny. It is nice to see a resolution to the one-off message of "I want to make a game where you delete the code until it breaks". Great job, I like the wizard.

Phenomenal game given the restrictions of the Jam! Pretty graphics, entertaining gameplay, and straightforward mechanics.  Great across the board. With this said, the game did have a few buggy mechanics. One of my eggs got sent to oblivion when moving it to a separate area. The objects were a bit clunky to move around and the instructions for each egg flashed, making it hard to read some of them. Also, the window dimensions cut off part of the game since I am using a relatively small computer. Still, these issues are unable to hide that you made a proper cozy game through and through. Great job!

Not that I would ever test it... However, yes you can. You simply need to throw it around a bit more.

Lovely game. The controls are very unique, however, they were somewhat difficult to use. I'm sure that is the primary part of the challenge, but it did somewhat get in the way of my ability to enjoy the game. Still, the graphics are very easy on the eyes and the simplicity really ties the game together nicely. Great job!

A lovely game all around. The UI is comfortable to use and engages the player very well.
