Game-like Jam 10 community · Created a new topic Am I required to innovate on the creation destruction mechanic of minecraft?
I want to do a project for this jam that focuses on the speedrunning side of Minecraft re-imagined in a 2d space, but I don't want to add the creation and destruction stuff. Am I allowed to make it a "Minecraft-like" by focusing on art and design while having unique gameplay or would that not qualify?
