Itch has currently quarantined the update automatically but if you manage to get past it you should be able to download the update even if it says the files are from before. Apologies for the inconvenience, I've emailt Itch about it weeks ago but no response.

It is in Itch's hands, there is nothing I can do about it sorry. Others have said that if you go past the quarantine and download the files, even though it says it's the old files. You'll actually get the latest update.

It is a feature I created for the sequel and then thought I may as well port it over into 1.1. The feature will be expanded upon in the sequel but not set in stone yet in which way.

No news, I emailt Itch support but no news. Some people have said that even though it says it's the files from 3 Months ago that if you download it you actually do get the latest update. Let me know if that works. Otherwise emailing itch support might help out some more pressure.

It should probably just ask you if you want to update the app when installing the .apk but I am not 100% sure. Hope it all worked out alright!

Ah sorry for not getting seeing your message earlier but glad you figured it out. For anyone else wondering it's inside the individual achievements screen for each character (got to click on one)

Really glad to hear that! Im hard at work on the sequel :)

Yes of course, if you request a refund I'll approve it then you'll just have to wait a while for Itch to allow the refund.

I've emailt Itch support but not much else I can do, sorry. You could try e-mailing them too.

Not in this 1.1 update but I'm working on the sequel!

Are you trying to run the .exe from within the zipped folder? You need to first extract the full folder somewhere else, then run .exe from there.

The save files are typically held in two places on our computer, within the saves folder inside the main gamefolder but also in %appdata% , so you should be fine to delete the current game folder completely and unzip the new one in the same place.  You can also just unzip the new folder in a different place and nothing would require deleting. Your saves should automatically show up, if they dont you can  copy the saves folder over from the previous game. Hope that helps, let me know if you run into any issues.

Appreciate the feedback, and understand some of the AI voices may have been more to people's taste for certain characters and scenes. For now it is not planned to put any AI voices back in.

This is because Itch's system automatically quarantined the new files. I have e-mailt Itch support and hopefully they will remove the warning soon.

The Itch system automatically quarantined the update which I would guess is the cause of this issue. I've emailt Itch support but they're not the fastest to respond. You could try e-mailing Itch support as well to maybe get it resolved faster. The files are definitely there so there isn't anything I can do from my side.

No new direct story content other than the backstories inside the 360 character viewer.

Yes, it's just an automatic quarantine as soon as I uploaded the new build. Other than messaging Itch support there's not much to do, I'm afraid.

This is a free update so no need to purchase again if you've previously purchased it! The files were put under automatic quarantine by Itch and I'm not sure how quickly they'lll resolve it. Some people have said if you skip past the quarantine message and download the files, even though it says they were uploaded 2 months ago that they're still the new files?

这是因为 Itch 的系统自动隔离了新上传的文件。我已经给 Itch 客服发了邮件,希望他们能尽快解除这个警告。

Nothing at the moment, maybe could try asking Itch support as I've emailt them as well but they'll need to lift the automatic quarantine.

This update is free! You do have to redownload because you'll need the updated files.

Ah thank you so much!

So glad you enjoyed it! Definitely more characters coming in the sequel(s)!

You can buy it on Steam at https://store.steampowered.com/app/4103530/Heatwave_Sams_Stay/, if you then want the Android version you can send me an e-mail at codyfordart@outlook.com

They are very different! The demo should only be the intro to the game and 1 sex scene, about 20 minutes of playtime. The full game contains many many more and averages at 4 hours of gameplay.

Above link should still work. Otherwise can find it by manually going to the steam page and going to community hub > guides!

You're the first to mention it, there is one bug that can sometimes cause audio to stop at a few points in the game requiring restart, but if audio isnt working from the start I haven't heard anyone else mention that before.

Glad you enjoyed it! It takes a lot of time to make the games so trying to get as much content in while not making people wait too long. Currently a Spanish translation is not in the works or planned.

如果您发送邮件至 codyfordart@outlook.com,我可以为这次误购办理退款。

If you e-mail to codyfordart@outlook.com I can give a refund for the accidental purchase

Thank you so much for the support! <3 Happy to hear your thoughts :)

So glad to hear you liked it so much! The sequels will be separate games for now, but I'm sure that eventually I'll do an "ultimate" edition way down the line that combines all the chapters into one big game. Just as I also release these games on Android, if it starts getting to the 5-15GB range it gets tough.

<3 Really happy to hear it!

That was a bug in the very earliest version of the game but that should have been long fixed. That should be fixed if you update to the latest version, or otherwise you can leave the date with Darius early and then you'll get the choice to peak.

(1 edit)

Yes that's correct, I of course understand ideally wanting those things as free updates but I think a lot of similar projects die out by doing that because ultimately there isn't much incentive for the creator to continue making content. DLC's could work but typically DLC's are not done for parts and additions that are larger or same size as the original game. Understand your feedback though and hopefully the next game being a bit bigger/longer will address some of those concerns!

PS: There is going to be one free update coming soon but I will reveal more about that in coming weeks.

Can you send an email to codyfordart@outlook.com

Glad you enjoyed it, a lot more to come in the sequel(s)!

Happy to hear it, and you definitely will be able to!
