Hi, you can replay the memories from the memories screen if you want the full scene and sounds and animations. The way the audio is coded makes it a bit awkward to include the videos inside the gallery, so those are just images for this game. But something I can look into changing my approach for in the next game! Appreciate the feedback!
Really glad you enjoyed it so much! Really great point on the gallery viewing, this is something that I had on my to-do list ages ago and completely forgot about. I've now implemented this feature in the full game. So can scroll through gallery by pressing buttons on the sides or just using arrow keys, gamepad etc. Thank you for the great suggestion!
Hi!
I can only give you a veryyy rough time estimate as it so heavily depends on if you read fast or listen to all the audio in full, find all the hidden stories, beat the characters in the rhyhthm game etc. But if you're an excited player that will probably want to engage with those different parts of the game. I think runtime will be around 5-10+ hours.
This is my first own game project.
And indeed would love to create a second game which would continue Sam's story but take place a few weeks after the events of this game. Don't want to give anymore info, as Im early stages just thinking about that but all subject to change. But yes, plan is definitely to start work on a second game right after this one is released :)
Hi, thank you for your kind words! The game will be a one time payment of 9.99 during launch week, no subscription on Patreon required! It is me working on the game as a solo dev (with the help of some awesome translators for the other languages).
The reason for including the mini-game was just because I wanted to try it to be honest, offer something a little different than just the pure story content. I understand it's not for everyone hence why I did make it fully optional. Implementing that mini-game took less than 1% of the time that I spent on the story parts of the game, so don't worry about there being a lot less story content because of the inclusion of the mini-game.
Hope that answers any concerns! Appreciate you sharing your thoughts!
The first one you are forced to pick up in the taxi, the second one is in the bushes to the right when you first see Darius and the third one is in the cupboard to the left when you're looking inside Darius' flat "I don't think he does serial killing for a living". They're very hard to find and have been made much easier in the full game, so not your fault at all haha!
