Thanks for playing! The proper ending is once you have all 6 upgrades, you go back to the main golden "trophy" in the first room and interact with it one more time. I'm glad my game jam game could scratch that metroidvania itch! This game gave me the encouragement to maybe make a full metroidvania one day.
