awww, thank you so much! I love the art and cozy dialogue of your game too. I’m super happy that you like the knight’s design, I was pretty passionate about making it :>

oh hello, Dahlitea! :D thank you so much for your high praise, we’re so grateful we could accomplish all that in such a short time period. hearing you liking both the art and sound design is incredibly gratifying, knowing you worked on Bear and Hunger which is such a cute, cozy game. (must. collect. all. fish.)
we’re unfortunately aware that levels can get tedious with repeition, and thankfully we now know better for future projects. a lot of the secrets are very low chances, so no worries if you couldn’t find them!
thank you for playing our game, Dahlitea! :>
(glad I’m not the only one who noticed that with the bush, haha)
it’s insane how quickly you found it!! I was in shock, haha. thank you so much for your kind words, Odd! it was so fun listening in to your stream and recommending games to play :D
no worries about forgetting anything, you actually combed through the levels pretty well and I was super delighted to hear you enjoying things during it. your game was so cute too, the baby Lilyyyy!! thank you for playing our game :D
the art is so pretty and cohesive! the bear character has such a charming, cute design and the jam’s palette complements her so well. unique fishing mechanic, too! it’s satisfying to pop those bubbles, and I’m a big fan of collecting the fish.
although, I’d find it more comfortable to be able to fish by only pressing space and not needing to click on the bear, as it feels clunkier that way. fun game! :>
super cute, squishable pets! I love Baby Lily’s animation, and the design of the grown up Hya is so elegant with that tail animation.
I’d love a minimize window option, and maybe resizing the hitboxes of some of them, since it can be a bit hard to click on one of them if behind another pet. really cute game! :>
cute game with fun gameplay! the mushrooms’ faces changing as you jump on them is a detail that immediately improved the game for me.
I like how varied the platforming can get, it didn’t feel repetitive at all. the side-scrolling felt a bit laggy, and I think the jump height/speed could be improved upon.
all in all, nice game! :>

the loop doesn’t have a recurring cycle nor an end, levels play randomly after each other and there’s a difficulty modifier which has a cap. there could be a better way of looping levels, so thank you for mentioning it!
the secrets are all percentage-based, so you can get a secret even on the first level if you’re lucky. thank you for playing! :>
continuously progressing quests does sound like a neat idea! the seed level does get a bit tedious later, so sorry about that haha.
we’ve since added the loop into the feature section, since we haven’t made that part clear and that confused some people.
we’re not sure if we’ll further expand this game, but if we do we’re keeping all the feedback we’ve received in mind; like combat flow, less repetitive gameplay, etc.
thank you for playing and taking an interest in our game, it’s much appreciated! :>
I actually love Stardew and Bee & Puppycat, and Flower Knight’s name was inspired by Shovel Knight so you kind of hit the jackpot there, haha. the sitting was simply a must, and the bee is honestly what’s carrying the game.
the spawners location being random was planned, but we unfortunately didn’t have enough time for it as it was a last-minute level.
thank you for your thorough feedback, it’s very much appreciated! :>
thank you for the in-depth feedback!
as an artist, I always appreciate constructive criticism on my work and try to improve from it. the knight’s run was intended to appear a bit prance-like to convey Spring-time whimsy, but it’s good to know that some people would prefer a different approach.
the NPCs reactions to getting attacked was our game designer’s idea, and it’s honestly hilarious. we did run into some issues with the combat, so it’s good to receive players’ opinions on it.
glad you like the banner, and thanks for playing our game! :>
I’m sorry to hear that! the intended emotion is supposed to be Spring whimsy, I promise.
it’s a loop so it’s not meant to have an end, although there is a difficulty modifier the further you progress, and there are secrets to find.
we’ve added more levels than the initial scope to have variety, although some stages do get a bit tedious later on and we’re sorry about that! it was our first game as a team, and with only 2 weeks there were unfortunately bound to be hiccups.
thank you for trying it out! I’m glad you like the bee and NPCs.
beautiful, stunning art with very good direction, a cozy narrative and fun, challenging gameplay! I’m honestly in awe of the environment art, I’d love to play a longer game in this style.
at times the dialogue felt a bit exposition-heavy, but nothing major enough. the music was a bit quiet for me, but that could be just my system. lovely game! incredible work.
a lovely game with beautiful art, pretty music, atmospheric direction and interesting gameplay.
I love the environment art and the narrative of being a spirit and healing an ancient tree. the gameplay was just the right kind of challenging, and the climbing felt smooth.
the dialogue with Sir Bumblebark (the gnome) felt a bit exposition-heavy, but the other NPCs were fine. very well-made!
the ambient synth music is so nice and relaxing, I’m honestly really into it. the sound effects have this echo effect that give a sense of space and emptiness, which is just so encapsulating.
in terms of gameplay, sometimes the jump doesn’t work right after you land on a platform. otherwise, it’s a fun game.
is there a place where you post your music? I’d love to check it out.

I like how well-implemented the limitation was, although sometimes the jump doesn’t work right after you land on a platform.
incredibly cute game, and the layering of the musical instruments for each size stage? simply stunning.
I love the customization variety, and being able to eat trees is a joy I’ve never known I needed. the trail is also so satisfying. I’ll be disappointed if you’re not at the very least in the top 5 rankings, great game :>

I constantly looked forward to the next stage because of the music, and getting so big you can eat trees is honestly just chaotic fun. the customization is also so varied.
only thing I felt wanting is to have the bar fill quicker early on, and the hitbox of some props felt a bit small so I had to reverse and turn back sometimes. overall, such a fun and pretty game! :>
thank you so much! the knight concept was by me, and the bee was our game designer’s idea which simply HAD to be implemented.
we’re unfortunately aware of the seed level’s tediousness, but since that’s the most complex code-wise we’re unable to improve it. I agree about the music, neither of us are composers sadly but maybe one day!
thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it! :>
