hello minty, i just bought this plugin and i’m loving it so far :) simple and effective. i was wondering if it was possible to request a few small features.

could we adjust how long the fade in and out is between opening and closing the Social Link scene? 

as well as be able to change the names for Affinity, Rank, and Friendship. although, i can do this myself, if you permit us to be able to edit your plugin code.

Hello. After knowing the context, you don't have to apologise. My complaints should be meaningless to you when your living conditions are on the line, yet you still choose to look after them and intend to fix things.

Please look after yourself first. I have canceled the dispute, and since learning about your story a while ago I decided to purchase one of your assets in order to show support. 

Don't worry about trying to fix the issues yet, just focus on getting back on your feet. I'm sorry for causing you stress and I hope we see you again with the passion to create things, and hopefully with a stable life. Stay safe brother

Firstly, I’d actually like to apologise for coming at you with aggression. Yes I can’t force devs to mould everything around my custom builds and no dev should feel entitled to anything.

Thank you for finally logging into itch to reply though. If I may describe my “custom” menu, it’s as simple as having 3 Show Picture events, and a Open Menu Command event. The plugin shuts down the entire project if you don’t manually Disable Minimap first. This applies to Open Save Command, scripts that open up other Scenes, etc.

As for MZ3D incompatibility, it’s okay you don’t have to really do anything. You’re right that you only said it’s only MV3D compatible. It was just odd that the free Minimap perfectly detects the collision but not the Advanced, paid, version. I would expect for the paid version to not lack something that the free version has.

I understand you have other endeavours in life but it just felt so wrong to never reply to anyone who has purchased your products.

I’m sorry for being rude. I don’t want a refund anymore since you at the very least decided to reply. Thank you for your time.

I just tested the game again and I could equip the combo easily. You switch pages by pressing Q or W in the Skill Equip menu. But then you mentioned you were playing it through Wine (Linux?) so it could just be unoptimised. I'll continue trying to replicate your issue in the mean time.

please don't buy this plugin.

it's super super buggy and the dev hasn't updated this plugin for 4 years now.

the dev has completely abandoned everything and has moved on to Unreal.

i've issued a paypal dispute and hopefully i get my money back.

Really cool plugin! I'm a big fan!

I know you've probably already got some of these down, but if I may suggest features:

- A 'hurt' sprite, 'out of ammo' sprite, a 'reloadING' sprite, and a 'dying/low HP' sprite for the actors. Make these optional so if other devs don't want to draw a lot of sprites, they can still only have the default ones.

- Better visual feedback for when you switch characters.

- Allow us to reposition the UI.

- Allow to disable screen shake in the Settings menu. (for nauseous players)

- According to my testing, the plugin doesn't respect the Element Rates? Cecil's Fire weapon does NOT do more damage against enemies with Fire weakness. Hopefully the other RPG Maker systems/parameters end up working with the plugin too.

I'm really liking this plugin and I like supporting devs who make unique battle systems! Can't wait to make a game with this

Awesome! Lastly, is it possible to store 2 different timers, and only when both timers reach 0, can trigger the abort battle? (Eg. an oven timer & a fryer timer) thanks for answering my questions! I love your plugins a lot!

Hello! Is it possible to display the timer in turn-based combat, and when it reaches 0, it will run a common event (in this case, to run Abort Battle)? Thanks!

also the collision detection in the PAID version (left) is worse than the free version (right). if there's a fix to this i'd appreciate it!

Hi! My game can only have 1 actor in combat at a time, but can Swap to 3 different actors. Is it possible to dictate the max number of actors in combat?

Loved that little cutscene where the guards were trying to find you!

Loved it!

This game was AMAZING. I love the graphics, the sound design, and the concept of the 4 party members; so clever! The story did leave me me wanting more, not because it ended short, but I felt like something was missing that kept me from being 100% hooked.


I also wish there was more music, like in the battles. The gameplay was also decent! I love me some classic turn-based battles.

That being said, this was an amazing experience. You are in my top 3 best games in this jam so far! Keep doing what you're doing <3

I'm jealous of the writing and the pacing this game has. Even with the default assets, I find this game more engaging and gut wrenching than some games out there with better graphics. You should be proud of what you managed to cook up in such a short period of time. Please make more games!
