Since we are in Early Access now, with more users about to come on board, we figured it was a good time to layout some of the development roadmap and what issues we are aware of.  Our development roadmap includes a lot of suggestions by the community so feel free to send us even more, if you can think of any.  Ones that can be implemented and improve the game will be.  So let's get into it!

To-Do / Upcoming Features

  • Controller / Steam Deck support
  • Localization
  • Player drops from networked game, bot takes their spot
  • Player can join game with an open slot held by bot
  • Fix camera moving back to actual player
  • Zoom out during other players, zoom in during local player
  • Racing / better
  • More opportunities to fix rig when it breaks
  • Player can hold button to keep shaking, does nothing actually
  • Add door closing sound during loading
  • Find someone to drunkenly rambling non-words for Dennis dialog
  • Add particles and sound to pieces as they move around
  • Accessibility: voice-over for all text / interfaces
  • Add couch co-op mode
  • Change mouse icon setting on disabled or non-functioning buttons to default, swap back when enabled or functioning

Known Issues

  • Player on Warehouse square may break win condition in some cases
  • Last bot in character select has weird lag
  • %OCCUPIER instead of name during ramming
  • Ramming was backwards with local player and human player
  • Scored match end-game is bugged
  • Curse reduces one first turn after being cursed

Hey, long-haul truckers!  As the game is now in Early Access, folks can play almost everything that we have to offer in the game.  All of the multiplayer and other fancy features do require Steam to function so all of those are only available on Steam itself.  The Itch.io version is limited to singleplayer but has the same exact gameplay.

Version 0.3.3 (Early Access) - 3/28/2023

  • Added: OSX platform
  • Added: more rich presence stuff
  • Added: some extra small animations
  • Changed: text on Financial Burden achievement
  • Changed: layout of stats, leaderboards, options, play section
  • Changed: prep for controller / Steam Deck functionality
  • Changed: prep for couch / local play
  • Fixed: achievements not syncing from Steam

Please report any bugs you find to support@coaguco.com and also feel free to share any suggestions you might have on improving the game.  We have integrated a lot of community suggestions so far and more coming!

The game looks really cool.  The environment art reminds me a lot of Hyper Light Drifter.  Looking forward to checking it out!

Cheers, sir!  Yeah, we thought about Steam Workshop about mid-way through the game's content updates.  At this point, the easiest thing to do without a lot of modification to the engine would be Steam Workshop for text scripts.  Like adding new languages.

However, we are currently getting ready to start work on the sequel; we're actively in the design phase.  Putting Steam Workshop as a feature in that would be much easier at the beginning so that people would add items and stuff.

The game comes with a Steam key.  You should be able to generate one from your account.  You will also be emailed a Steam key for the DLC.

I think there is a "redeem Steam key" button in your library or purchases on Itch.

Indeed! Yeah, it is still in early alpha with a lot of stuff still being added and tested. Feel free to sign up for the beta when it arrives.
