Your fans need you! And hearing from a possible H.E.R.O. Is Back 3 makes it even more exciting! 馃槃

Your game is the only one that plays like the original game, so I consider you a magician 馃槑

In my opinion the levels are designed challenging and exciting most of the times.

Like luznac I also whished for something totally unexpected new. Maybe a moving wall, switches to open secret passages or one or two new monster types.

But all in all I鈥檓 happy to see a new H.E.R.O. after 4 decades…馃槃

Must be something in the Emulator I tried with. This afternoon I installed H.E.R.O. Is Back in my MiSTer and now speed is the same as the PC version. Weird.

I also tried the original H.E.R.O. In NTSC mode on MiSTer and the sounds are faster there, too. It looks like there was never a NTSC/PAL fix for that game. Maybe it would be nice for all NTSC users to have the same experience…

After playing a while I noticed that because of PAL it's slower than the PC version - and it's much much easier because of this! So I switched the C64 to NTSC and it feels a lot more challenging like the PC version! But sounds are also much faster in NTSC mode, would be nice if the sounds can be the same speed as in PAL.  Maybe there should be a witch PAL/NTSC in the options...

Hooray! 馃槃

And the graphics were always good - I like that style very much!

Overall I like the labyrinth style - something new to the game! H.E.R.O. was always a little bit too linear and this adds some fresh variation! I always wondered if any new aspect can be added to the game like hidden passages or a new kind of monsters. But it would be a balancing act fitting the game…

I鈥榤 also wondering and certainly mentioned it before if a kind of level editor would add something new as fresh ideas could be realized by the players what e.g. keeps Boulder Dash still alive.

But lower difficulty should be only optional! I like it to be challenging - but with a trick to overcome… 馃槑

I still can't get past over level 14, losing too many lifes. So many dead ends (a map would be cool). Some kind of cheating would be nice - and if it's only a save game with all levels unlocked.

And a C64 version would be really a dream come true! :)

Happy to see that the game is alive again! :)

Enclosed the screenshot.

Somehow the user interface is a bit confusing for me, it's not fully clear what to press or what to do - especially in the garage, I don't know how to exit from there and return to race.

Just tried the version 0.4.0 on my new Mac mini M4 Pro - it works until the race should start. But the whole screen is blue (no race track, only the center line) and the car does not move. What's the trick?

Thank you for the info! It鈥檚 a very very challenging game - I like that! I hope that I will ever be able to see level 20.

I wonder if there is some kind of cheat method to reach higher levels? Only by luck I reached level 10 one time - and there are many more (how many exactly?)…

I do not fully understand how to start a level by a code. It took a while to figure out how to enter numbers in the first place, not very intuitive. Nevertheless after entering a code it always starts with first level here. Can you explain? Moreover I would like to be able to enter the code by the number keys and pressing return to start, at least optionally.

yes,  optionally would be nice! 馃コ

Wow! Great game! :)

It would be nice if a second fire button would be optionally supported for jumping!

You are certainly right but the distance of each move is too big and so hard to deal with in my opinion. So maybe less distance between this "jumps" would also make the movement a little bit more fluid. It is causing the game to be much more difficult than necessary.

The walking animation should be improved. It is looking very weird.

This is a very nice clone, too:

Nice game! Only the frog like walking animation and the very jerky enemy movement is disturbing. Maybe you can improve that?

The controls are spot on compared with the C64 version. Couldn鈥檛 be better!

the game mechanics are not the same as on the real Jumpman. The DOS version had the correct mechanics from the C64 version but unfortunately this remake plays totally different, it鈥檚 much harder to control the player and to exactly climb and jump. Can you revise that?

Great game! Can you please support a second firebutton?

Great game! Was waiting for a new adventure of Bounty Bob for decades! The flashing of the enemies before they revert would really be helpful. Next a sequel to Bounty Bob Strikes Back with the better controlable jumping and even more sophisticated levels!
