An unexpected indie horror classic. The entire experience was expertly choreographed--innocent little platformer, the typically solitary gameplay in a dark room (BTW play this with headphones). Jesus Christ, how did you (Hengikken) rope me in? I'd have risen from my chair at the first odd noise, and definitely at the door mysteriously opening, but even though I as the player am not given that liberty, the whole thing absolutely works! Gorgeous contrast of realism on the player-character's side vs the old-school display. Recommended!

All of them are great fun, but number 4 is where you start having a really immersive experience. The new companions are a plus, but in all honesty I've got to say that from my perspective the real gameplay and takeaway--collectively speaking--is discovered through exploration. Get to that endless and yet enclosed space with the doors that disappear and reappear.  Enjoy the liminal freakiness! Having Percy and his resources at your disposal is also really nice.  My favourite instalment in the Ben Jordan series!

Ah! I was just using the wrong verb, thank you! Just finished--what a wonderful experience. Worth far more than what I paid (twice the asking price). Looking forward to the next installment and will check out your Patreon. All the best to you and yours! :D

Nice! Very tight, snappy, and the graphics are wild. I like it! Outside of The Crimson Diamond demo, I've not played a proper text-parser game before. Ahh! And now I've got 26 of the 32 points, with only a berry, the computer, and remote left. In the cave and feel as though I've tried everything at all locations but... maybe I need a nudge, eh? Hint hint? ;)

Beautifully done, creepy AF. I've only got one ending thus far (Easter doesn't fare well). Using headphones--definitely a requirement if you want to get the full 'Shining' vibe as well as figure out which direction to go in the darkness. I was really dubious at first as I'm not a fan of keyboard adventures, and weary of the glut of horror offerings, but this one's excellent setup and dialogue make it well worth it. I loved the line-art cut-scene bits, and was surprised by the complexity... layers upon nightmarish layers. Fun stuff!
