The item combining does run a little deeper here and there admittedly, so it's very possible you may not have seen everything :3 If you don't want to do trial and error, I recommend the text adventure puzzle in the terminal to unlock the password for dev commands!
As for a discord, there's nothing like that atm, but we're making an effort to respond and keep an eye on all feedback :3
That's completely fair! We do actually have some plans to add a visual component to the text adventure, but for now we just wanted it functional :3 But yes, you can get a lot of stuff from closing pop-ups!

A lot of them should spawn from pop-up ads! Failing that, there is a new text adventure puzzle that should be a little more engaging to figure out as opposed to just the password hint!
Can you try doing Windows + R and type %appdata% into that to find it from there? When you copy-paste it directly into your explorer, it wouldn't be able to find it!
We called those "the malware" while we were making it, which is what had me confused, but that's just me forgetting that not everyone was there while we were naming things asjkfhg

We sort of went with a vague corrupted system vibe for the terminal, but I can see how it could be confusing! I plan on working more on the pet and I'll try to make terminal items clearer!
