dw you did the right thing, tossing your problems into the ether is a core element of the game

yeah I see where you’re coming from with swinging the door, could def add that in. The moment the food steams it’s cooked but if you strive further and keep letting it steam you can reach scores of 5 and even 50 from a single meal, but the longer you steam the higher the odds of burning your food.

There's 2 pieces of paper on the table with suggested cook times for all the meals, if you cook the meal to the time it  says it's a guarantee that it will steam and not be overcooked but you will get minimal points, the longer you go beyond the suggested cooking time the more points but you have the risk of burning the food. Yeah it's a spin to win gamble basically.

Really interesting take on the spin to win theme. I liked the main mechanic of hitting an enemy then pivoting around them to hit future enemies, good job.

Great idea for the tornado destroying cities, was very satisfying destroying whole neighbourhoods.

We could have made a bit clearer, but when a food steams that means it's cooked, the longer it steams the more it's cooked and the more points you can get but at some point it will burn, so it's like a game of chicken

Left my review, you guys really captured a vibe

Left my review, I sweated so hard against bob in the turtle race

You made me do maths in a game and still have fun, congrats. Soundtrack was great, really kept the suspense.

I really liked the old school doom vibes, if there was some recoil on the camera when shooting think that would make everything even more visceral

Left my review, your sounds were so crisp and really fit the game's vibe.

Dyam that audio was crisp, fun gameplay too.

Appreciate it, I've rated yours

The hamster ball rolling was so satisfying, you nailed the sounds and controls for it.

Left my review, oh I had fun.

Crazy game, Lil Timmy is a beast.

Really liked the background cog art and that audio of what sounds like cogs ticking, fantastic, it really improves the whole experience. Would be nice if your character was also some kind of cog, you can never have enough cogs....

This is a really creative way to use the spin to win theme, space spiral launchers why didn't I think of that! The game has a genuinely fun gameplay loop, the addition of the upgrades goes a long way, making it moreish. Great Job!

To make this game in a week, congrats! You've packed it with a lot of stuff and not sacrificed any quality. This was one of the most creative ways I've seen the spin theme used within a game, having the additional dynamic of swapping between weapons with different attack patterns really improved the play.

This car has some serious horse power! I liked the number number of levels you added and the additional obstacles that each one introduced. If the car gradually slowed down think that would aid the driving experience but overall great first Godot game!

Hey it may be scuffed, but it's actually pretty fun, like the whole minigame route you went where each minigame (even the menu) is focused on spinning, fantastic, you really expanded on this jam's spinning theme and I respect that.

Ok guys, I've got my rating gloves on, I'm ready to play and rate.
Show me what you got!

Feel free to give my Microwave game a rate as well if you get the chance.

Enjoy!

Gotta love a fellow cooking game!

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! The physics def needs some fine tuning and yeah I see where you’re coming from with the upgrades, could definitely spice things up.

Really appreciate the feedback and glad to hear you enjoyed it. I can definitely see how another sign could help, maybe a sizzle or something similar.

appreciate it, hope you have fun!

Very serious, the spinning was definitely satisfying but it didn't feel like the focus of the game, maybe if the minigame was also spin focused that could have taken the theme to greater heights.

Cracking game concept, who doesn't love a lazy susan?  The game definitely needs polish but good job getting it out, I respect the creativity.

Great level of polish, the menu and gameplay felt alive! While the gameplay was on the simpler side, I actually had a lot of fun, keep up the good work!

Really creative concept, I will say I got stuck in a loop at the beginning where it spawned me basically in an orbit that flung me to the right. But with some polish it could be something really interesting!

The physics of the turtle could do with a little tweaking but I had a lot of fun playing this game. The background music was particularly good!
