What exactly do you mean by separate foreground and background? What are you looking for in the foreground?

Thank you. It definitely seems like my biggest things to work on have been with the early game and progression based on the comments I've received.  I plan to work on it a bit more to balance that better and release an update.

I really like this a lot. One of the things I've wished Defold improved was its tile editor, and the idea of an auto-tiler seems perfect for projects on it. Are you planning on using this for more than a mechanic in a single game? I think this could be an excellent reusable tool. 

Thanks, I definitely can make it better. A lot of things I just ended up not having the time to include. I'm going to work on it more.

The ship starts out not able to kill them very fast. I recommend upgrading fire rate or unlocking the laser chaingun.

It starts slow, try buying some upgrades. Speed, fire rate, powerups. If you make it to a decent score, it becomes a frenzy.

This was my first game jam, and this is my first ever completed and released game. I had an incredible time building this, and I just want to express my thanks to everyone who had a part in making this jam happen, and also to the Defold team for making this engine for the world. Rock on game devs, the hard parts are worth it.
