Very much so my fault as well lol. Attacking an enemy will actually give some bonus time which was never mentioned in the tutorial because it was added in the last hour or so.
When you mention a hidden post it note, do you mean in the shadows? If so, I was hoping the level design would make you assume there was a post it note there. Sorry for the confusion.
