I love it! Something about the run anmimation is so satisfying. Floor was a little trippy and I'm not too sure about the theme / object but it was still a really enjoyable little game.

My guess is I had the card held and discarded so it never got played and never returned to my hand locking the buttons / cards.

Amazing game! Loved the theme and object implementation, got really into the game. Did encounter a bug once I unlocked the balrogs, clicking a card after the ability made it so that I couldn't click any cards or the next day button, the music button however did still work. Other than that can't complain. Having to think about the order in which to play cards so that you can get the most out of them was really fun!

Cool concept! Would've loved to see the music persist for the fight and the gameplay be a little faster but even without It was good fun!

Absolutely loved the game! Such good implementation of the theme and object. Only thing I would've liked to see was an audio slider as it was really loud for me.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely check out your game. I did cut a lot of corners and didnt spend nearly as much time as I wanted on the game but im happy its still an enjoyable experience, thank you for playing!

Nice game! Love the concept. Wish the controls were a little nicer, feels quite awkward to play.

Sorry about that! Its something with the web build of the game, I'm not totally sure whats causing it right now. If you download the non web version you won't have any issues, thank you for the screenshots.

Cool game, love the artwork!

Web build has a number of potential crashes however you are still able to play to some extent. Try the downloading the DownloadBuild for the full 3 levels.

Thats perfectly fine, go for it!

Not sure why the scale isnt working. Its my first time uploading to itch. I've added the web game embed to the page as well, that one does let you full screen the game getting around the scaling issue.

Thank you so much

First time uploading to itch and wasn't aware I could make my project into a web app. Uploaded a new web file: https://chrisjohnson.itch.io/feed-the-door

Great concept, would be nice to see more. Lots of directions you could take the game. Smoothing out the hit boxes and adding some attack visuals would go a long way, keep it up.

Great game. Nice concept, would've loved to see some more feedback (audio or visual ques) when you enter a correct or incorrect answer.

Really fun! Enjoyed playing though the game. Would've been nice to have a slightly wider fov or different camera movement but I can understand the theme you were going for.

Great concept, really enjoyed playing though the game. Level one was well thought out and a fun play though. Would've been nice to see a little more focus on the door within level one. Level two seemed a little less developed but still very enjoyable. I found the jumping to be slightly buggy with the blue cube and found myself clicking to the next scene forcing me to restart a few times.

Loved the game, levels were well thought out and a lot of fun. Would've been great to see more levels and some kind of twist with the door.

Liked the audio and idea, not sure how much it related to the theme & special object. Found myself having a lot of fun and jaming out.

Great starting concept, could use another mechanic or some scaling/randomness to spice things up.

Great concept, could use a little more. Not sure if the green units were bugged but they didnt seem to do anything. Having to move from to bottom to top of the game seemed off, would be nice to have more on the screen. Fun play on words, great idea.

Great game, had a lot of fun. Would be nice to see some visual changes, the bullet type selection wasn't  super clear. Also when you complete the game the new doors overlapped the previous games. Solid concept and really enjoyable.
