Great game Marshall! It's always impressive how much you're able to do, even on your own. The controls were creative but I got used to them very quickly and they felt great. I'd be curious to try this as a co-op game

I had a good time!

The UI was simple and easy to understand. That art was all very nice.

Since the flavor text was one of the big parts of the game, it would have been nice to be able to bring back the description of the crimes. Once I interacted with the screen, the crime description went away, and I couldn't find a way to read it again.

At first I thought there would be some way to deduce who the criminals are, but I quickly realized that was not how the game was setup. Adding some layer of deduction would make the gameplay more engaging. I know you said this is also an art project, so maybe gameplay was not the primary goal.

Thus is the plight of the healer. You can blame it all on Steve if that helps.

By the way, the theme for that jam was "delay the inevitable."

Thanks so much for playing! We played around with expanding the game, but things just didn't work out. If you liked this game though, you might like some of the other game jam games I've worked on. You can find them all on my itch profile. Downpour and Little Oni were made with the same team as Healer's Handbook

Thanks for the review Sawyer! I'm glad you were able to connect so much to the game.

Lol Steve didn't make it on the team

Good job! Not everyone has been able to get to 5 books. It does mean though that you've seen all the content the game has to offer. That's all we were able to do within the game jam. Thanks for playing!

The books are just to show your progress. 5 books is the max!

We'll never shut down the real napsta

Thanks! We're glad you enjoyed it! We came up with the mechanic on our own. I'll have to look up Rampart
