That a really cute post! The "Once you give yourself permission to play without rules" part really made an impression on me.

I agree it's a neat game. Thank you, author! I hope I get to playtest it sometime. 🥲

Take note that d36 has a linear probability curve (every result is as likely as every other), while 3d6 has a bell curve (because of adding rolls together, low and high numbers are very unlikely, and numbers around the average are the most likely). So you can't simply switch them around.

What a timely question! The RPG deck, sadly, never got delivered, and I gave up on tarot for a while. About a month ago, though, the passion was revived, and I ordered The Light Seer's Tarot (plus took the intuitive tarot reading course by Astrid on Udemy), and I absolutely love it! The deck even has a web site, so you can check it out. The cards are quite thick and well-made, and the illustrations are beautiful. Even though it tends to display things a bit differently, the symbolism is still very much relatable to the classic Raider-Waite deck.

Thank you for your kindness! I'm very happy you find it useful and inspiring. 🙂

I don't know where else to put this. Hopefully it's helpful to you.
On page 3, Rolling Dice, the first sentence is "Everything is an opposed role." Did you mean "roll?"

Even though I was not able to playtest the game yet, it looks pretty awesome to me! I feel like you gave it just enough structure, while still keeping it light and super customizable. 🙂

Also, I absolutely love how you made a pocketfold edition. 😆

Better than I ever hoped. It's not just a dirty talk game, but rather very well thought out. Your clients have very fun issues you help them solve in imaginative ways. I love helping people, and helping them with romance and relationships is just a pure bonus. Multiple endings are also very welcome.

I would absolutely love more content for this game!

You game just opened up to me all the possibilities of using tarot cards in RPGs! And what a wonderful world it is! Might have found a new passion. Ordered the awesome RPG-themed tarot cards. 😄

(1 edit)

That's very neat, I like it! You're trying to solve something similar than I do, except your system feels way more organic, I'd say. I believe it does pay to offer some more structure to rolls and stats.

Such an interesting concept! And, what's more, you used Scribus to produce it! Pure awesomeness. 👍
(You might want to set the PDF metadata in the document properties before exporting, such as the author, the title, and stuff.)

Thank you for sharing this freely! I'm starting to feel the merits of these single-sheet-of-paper games, since they keep the game flowing at an amazing pace. Very interesting setting and items. I never would have thought of any of this. 😮
