Lovely game! I shan't say much since it appears many here before me have gone indepth about its merits.

Anyhow, great atmosphere, great chatacterization and neat little nods, I'm sure the emotional impact will be even greater on you than it was on me, so get through this if you may!

Perks: too many to list, don't wanna spoil anything, so just go play the damn thing!(SPOILERS: still, what I can only describe to as the a-specs breakdown scene made the robotic speaking feel intense, which is hard to achieve; and the part where the game gets demeaned as derivative, while listing Undertale(famously just an Earthbound Touhou Yume Nikki(which itself gets listed) Chronotrigger.  .  . mashup(I mean this positively)) is very ironic; lastly, the arcade section had a lot of effort put into it seemingly, and I must say, the, uh, bridge-forming was a 'so true' moment(going off felt and retold experiences))

Gripes: the game crashing multiple times in the pc section whenever clicking quite a few places. The game taking so long to open(can be a good 15+ minutes on my machine, at the least), which, since it's addressed and, if anything, gives you a bit of introspective time, wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't for my previous point. Not understanding any of the real life musical references(admittedly that has absolutely nothing to do with the game itself, so, again, any not-yet-player reader, play this! You likely will get even more out of this than me!), though the in-game soundtrack is very effective. Lastly, I swear I spent an ungodly amount of time scouring every inch of the boating section for a while and found nothing(had to pull up a video because I had 100% ruled it out as the way forth), I'm sure it's possible to have similar experiences in other places, though it doesn't take away too much if you don't get stuck, it's expressly not a fast paced, or unexporatory game.(Also, the choice to lock the key scheme was surely a choice of all time)
