Ye, I noticed in my submission that this is kinda though. Most people (me included) skip through the instructions anyways or only read it very briefly :)

Did u also spot the crab? :) Thanks for playing!

Thanks so much! There's a second flower on the right you can use to fill up your nectar! We should've tuned it a bit better to actually force the player to the right but we also didn't want to make it too though. Balancing jam games is hard :)

I didnt mean it in a negative way it was hilariously frustrating at times as i wanted to finish the tasks and got sniped :)

Thanks! The control scheme is the main "gimmick". It is supposed to be a little wonky as it is "Hard to be a Hummingbird" :D
The game works on mobile as well, so give it a try! :)

Thanks! :)

Very creative concept but it wasn't immediately clear that you had to hold the space bar to get further. The option to disable damage helped a lot ;)

Super nice theme but super frustrating bullet hell game :D

I didn't get the goal of the game. Was it just to survive? Also it would be nice if you could upload it to itch.io directly next time. Keep on going! :)

Fun game but i missed the "fly" theme.

Super addictive game. Very creative writing! I played through it! The swat sound is super annoying as you get swatted a lot hahaha :D

Funny idea! I encountered a few rough edges but as you said you couldn't finish it in time. Keep it up!

Soundtrack was very nice!

The sound effects where super funny!

Quite a though game but after figuring out that u had to move your mouse away from the fly to not make it go away it was fun. Maybe the swat could've moved with the mouse to make it clearer :)

Thank you! I uploaded a new Version with 'unreversed' controls now. This should make it easier to play! :)

Thanks for the great feedback!

The Idea with the reversed controls was that u control your wings. When you create uplift on the left you will go to the right and vice versa. But we decided to just reverse them for the final build today to make it more accessible for people to get into the game! :)

Very well polished jam entry. Super nice visuals, great concept and execution. Really nice work! :)

I even managed to break the game once (where the ghost and regular character are on the screen at the same time) but figured out you can just reset it with 'r'.

Haha that is true :D

Ye, maybe it would've been better to color code the tiles or have tiles that cant be moved at all. Currently the tiles are blocked based on wether they could be merged or not. Maybe color coding would've helped making it less confusing.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks!

Thanks for fixing that! Cool game, I like the art. I had a few issues where trees would render with the wrong Z-Order - so basically I was in front of the trees but they rendered above the character. Apart from that well done :)

Sadly the game doesn't run in the html5 build. I get the classical Uncaught ReferenceError: unityFramework is not defined error.

Very cool retro artstyle. The sound effects where hilarious. It's just missing some music! The theme also perfectly fits the time of year :)

Very funny idea and good execution. I wish there was a dance animation when u dance your fever away :D

Ye I'm not sure about the hints. Some ppl suggested that they liked figuring out how it works.

Thank you!

(1 edit)

Ye, the idea was to teach the basics with the first few levels. Thank you for playing!

Movement felt quite good and the pixel art style is also cool!

Really nice retro style!

The idea was very enjoyable. It's a fun experience but a bit rough around the edges. I sadly didn't make it to the finish. Challenge increased progressive and was well done.

Insane visuals and audio for a weekend of work! I feel like the movement could need some more tweaking though.

Fun idea and very great visuals! Just the movement felt a bit stiff (but it's nice that u pulled off all those mechanics in just 2 days)

I really liked the visuals on this one! Keep it up

Really great artwork. I also liked the Idea with the heartbeat.

Don't get me wrong. I really enjoyed that it was a bit longer!

Thank you for playing. Maybe it would've been better to just give the player a limit amount of moves before the "radiation" level hits it's maximum to emphasize not just mashing buttons.

Thanks! We where happy that we had the time to implement some music at all. But i will keep that in mind for the next jam! :)

Thanks for the feedback! We are glad you liked it. That was exactly our intention with the first 3 levels! Maybe some small "helping" card would've been helpful.

Thank you for playing!

Oh ye, that would've been a lot more challenging! The idea came from Dark but our version not quite scientifically accurate :P

Thanks for playing!
