Very cute, the art style is wonderful and reminds me of some classic game boy games.
As a keyboard and mouse player, it took me a hot minute to figure out how to get past the main menu. But all in all, very enjoyable!
Simple, intuitive, and fun game! The concept was extremely enjoyable, and I got a laugh out of the cars going full tilt in reverse through the intersection. I think there's some great room for expansion here if you wanted, and more intersection types could be very interesting. But this was extremely well implemented.
Super cute art! I loved all the npcs, talking with them, and using the jump mechanics learned to discover secrets in your little town. Each character was cute, unique, and teaching the tutorial guy to enjoy his passions again was a lovely interpretation of the game theme. That said the difficulty was a little frustrating to me. I would have loved to have been able to rebind the launch key to something else as it felt a bit awkward being on shift, and the character movement was a little slidey to me. But I am also notoriously bad at platformers.
A simple and enjoyable game, especially given the short development time! The art was clean and easy to read as a player.
Grappling to the points can be a little bit jarring as it did seem to sometimes reset the momentum of the character, and sometimes the level generation made it impossible to progress. But all in all good job!
The Music and style were awesome! I love the little magician character he is very cute. This was very fun to play, I would love to see some kind of auto pickup mechanic for the enemy drops, as they were a little small for my eyes and easy to miss. I defiantly accidentally killed myself on my spells a few times while testing them out between waves, but I enjoyed the classic 'bullet hell' feel that they added to the game play during the enemy waves. Overall really fun!
The music is gorgeous. Loved the art and the steampunk theme, especially loved the parallax background it added to the feel of moving through the rooftops. I'd love to see some expanded inventions to use during movement.
I did accidentally get soft-locked on the third room by falling off the front of the level and getting stuck below. But all-in-all a fun play
