I could've sworn I left a comment here during the voting period. Great characters and cutscene obviously, knocked those out of the park. I love the animation when a customer notices you've stolen from them. Camera could use some work, but I like the main gameplay loop. Nice job! :)

Not Blobbert. It was I: Chimp Peen!

I thought I deleted this page? Interesting...

The pixel art and music are TOP NOTCH slickness! Great job here, sorry I didn't rate in time. Still love this though, gonna keep playing 😎

I love this! I wasn't able to make it to the end before rating deadline, but I will try to make it to the end later. I love piecing together the lore of how all of these games would actually play, it is like a fun mini-game within the ARG.

Good job, a super creative and well thought-out mystery :)

I feel like you're trying to pull me into an ARG right now I'm scared

Also, thank you for the high praise! Your Big Mode games have consistently had some of the most innovative gameplay each year, so this actually means a lot :)

The next Rick Slick game should have him dodging Blobberts instead of bowling balls. Thoughts?

Better not drop it!

Some of the best gameplay of the entire jam. The controls feel so good to master, and as you get the upgrades it REALLY starts to feel good bouncing around and cleaning this filthy world! Great job all around SFX/VFX are great as well, you should all feel proud! :)

Scariest death scene in gaming history. Sorry, not death scene... it is clearly a Death Film

This game is obviously hilarious, but I was pleasantly surprised at how fun the actual game is! not to mention the music fuckin' SLAAAAAAPS. Great job here, I love this seal and his zany antics :)

Easiest 20 stars I've ever given. Portal 3 is here, and it doesn't even need portals.

I wasn't able to finish this in time, but you bet your ass I'm going to be back to wrap this one up. Truly phenomenal job. Visuals, audio, gameplay, and new ideas are all off the charts here.

This is the kind of game I would make if I was cool.

As soon as I reached the basement, I felt like I was in a slick version of the movie Barbarian.

Honestly the perfect example of a great "meme game" for a jam. Scope, SFX/VFX were all great. And there were SO MANY ways to make things slick. Great job, this is a blast! :)

This game is super effin' addicting, it sucked me in

Remind me a lot of the games by AdamVision Studios, and those are some of my favorite, modern short-form score chasers. I may just add this to the list of games to play while I'm listening to podcasts. The SFX/VFX juice is spot on, the music is groovy, and the gameplay mechanics are all satisfying to pull off.

Great job here! You should be proud :)

Speedrunning the tutorial by cosplaying as Dunkey is my new favorite game mechanic.

This game is immaculate by the way. Visually and auditorialaityly (audio) this game is basically unmatched. I also love the gameplay, might be my favorite match-3 game since Huniepop (I just play it for the puzzles I swear to god)

Great job here! Might be my favorite solo effort of the entire jam :)

I love that my avatar is the LEAST cute thing on screen. Really makes you think, maybe slickness is just a state of mind...a good lesson for us all.

These types of games live and breathe by their dialogue and visual/SFX juice. And you blew it out of the park with all of those! Sounds great, looks great, reads great.

Amazing team effort, great job to you all! :)

This concept was fun, and I loved the humor, but the best part might just be the music! Goddamn, those tunes had me SHART CIRCUITing in real life!

Rear view action cam is another highlight, loved seeing my shart destroy my enemies. Good job! :)

Top 10 greatest "YAY" SFX in gaming.

This is some of the most purely fun gameplay I've experienced in this whole jam. I can't believe how many quality puzzles you were able to make in the timeframe! Also, this might be the first game I've ever played with auto-scroller puzzle levels. All of the moving platform puzzles ruled by the way, so clever.

I love this, great job! You should be proud, this is an insanely solid entry, especially for a solo dev! :) Keep it up

This is now my favorite game of the whole jam, and it isn't even particularly close. An Originality score of 5 stars is pretty rare from me, but this gets it without a doubt. 5 Stars in every category in fact. This is so much to play, listen to, look at...I even want to taste it!

I'm on a time crunch and wasn't able to beat this today, but I will definitely be coming back to this after the voting ends. Great effin' job, you should all be MEGA proud! :)

I accidentally made "Goonkey Kong" the perfect height to where all of his moves hit the other guy directly in the dick.

10/10 would dick punch Jackal Trade for a minute straight again

This game rules, I love everything about this. Monster Rancher with prohibition gangsters is such a deeply funny concept. Having shareable codes is also genius, although I couldn't get mine to copy in the Web Build. Well done, this is slick AND funny! :) Also the music SLAPS

Now this is my type of game. Bizarre in every conceivable way, and all the better for it.

This has that late 90's PC game feeling, where developers hadn't quite settled on an established way to control characters in 3D space. This is one of those alternate control schemes lost to time, and I'm glad to have discovered it.

Great audio, visuals, and fun gameplay. I didn't have time to beat this today, but I'm probably going to come back to this after the voting period. Well done, you should be proud! :)

Audio-visual feast, love the music and zany bowling animation aesthetic. The controls and movement are great as well! I think some of the level design could use some work, but that is true of almost every Sonic game (this is a Sonic game btw). Maintaining momentum in a fun but challenging way is very hard to design for, and overall I think you guys did a good job with it! :)

Even if this was only the tutorial level, it would still be one of the best games of this jam.

Well done, goddamn...

Holy hell this is slick! I was going upwards of 200 m/s on that last level, and I couldn't stop laughing the whole time. Such fun mechanics, a perfect speedrun kind of game. My only suggestions would be to make the Restart Level button a different key. About 10 times in a row, I instinctually clicked R after defeating the first enemies to try reloading my weapon 😭I know this is a "me" problem, so it won't factor into the score.

Great job here! Slick sounds, controls, visuals, and slick where it really matters: the soul :)

Outlandish...Pics or it didn't happen

In another world, that dancing mini-game is just the entire game of Blobbert.

This was fucking bananas in the best way. I don't know what criteria to use here, because this was like nothing else I've ever played. At first I thought it was going to be like Antechamber, then it turned into neighbor mini-game simulator.

All in all, this gets the David Lynch seal of approval. Great work everyone! :)

A fun wave shooter survivor-like. I like the crazy background, helps to keep things visually interesting. Also the music kicks ass. Good job! :)

Thanks for playing! :)

For sections that require you to coordinate Blobbert between screens, I've found the ideal method is to use a cluster of keys to slingshot Blobbert and preserve his momentum to the destination. A "fling and catch" sort of approach. I'm sure there are many other viable ways of playing though.

Thanks for playing, glad you had fun! :)

Bartticus brought up Carrion as inspiration early on, but that is primarily related to the way Blobbert's softbody behaves and reacts to things. The controls themselves were mainly inspired by our own games.

My BigMode 2025 Game Jam submission was a Tower Defense game where each tower correlates to a key on your keyboard, and they are powered via key presses. This was ultimately our main inspiration for the control scheme. In practice it doesn't control exactly the same since the keyboard in POWER SUCKERS is used for resource management instead of controlling a character. But we love the unique sensation of a game that uses your entire keyboard, not as a typing accessory, but instead treats it as a giant 30+ button controller.

This is a hoot! As everyone has said, including the replay is half of the fun here, great idea. As for the gameplay itself, I love it! The controls have a learning curve, but I clearly love games with wacky controls :) Once you get used to it, this good old fashioned goofy fun.

I especially love the way the dude slowly returns to his default resting state, that cracked me up. Awesome job! :)

The fact you were able to implement such a mechanically deep card game that includes ways to cheat is impressive in and of itself. But the visuals here are just as impressive! I laughed pretty hard at the backflip during the intro cinematic.

For those who are more familiar with the card game this is based on, I'm sure this is pretty easy to slip into. I'm new to it, however, so I struggled for a bit here. But once I got the hang of it, this is a lot of fun! Great job, you should be proud :)

Deeply hilarious concept, and slick execution! You could probably afford to make the game a bit more challenging (more frequent required moves) but it is safer to make it easy for a jam build. Good job, I had a good time with this! :)

My score was 31514

Cool game, sick music, great aesthetic, and love the HUUUUGE splashes! Kersploosh indeed.

My only suggestion would be adding a distinct drop-shadow or similar visual indicator to the player character to make their position in 3D space a bit easier to track.

Your game rules, great job! :)

Thank you so much! :D You win a special medal for remapping your keyboard to QWERTY just to play. The post-jam update will have an option to choose your keyboard layout, in case you want to come back and try climbing the online leaderboards!

Blobbert will put you on his world-travels post-card mailing list :) Thanks for playing!

Totally valid critique! Then again, most Funmath/Computer Lab games also seemed to have a halt in progression when the "puzzles" suddenly jump absurdly in difficulty, so maybe we're just going for accuracy in the genre ;)

Nah, I agree, the pacing would be improved by speeding up the fish tank and flame-trail puzzles. Thank you for playing, I'm glad you love Blobbert! :)

The power of raw spice n' sauce. Simple, enjoyable, and more than anything, SLICK! Great job, the song will be stuck in my head for days :)

I didn't know anyone else besides the devs spoke Blobbert...

I've beaten all of the penguins to death! Took me a long time, but I was able to squeeze my way past level 29. Super fun wave shooter, I was determined to see it through. I love the advanced movement needed to really pull it off, made me feel incredibly slick!

With all the hand crafted waves, it shocked me to see you're a solo dev! This is incredibly impressive, especially given the advanced music/instrument mechanics. Great job :)

It is easy to make stealth games that are tedious or boring, but this was fun and engaging the whole way through! I'm actually glad I got a GAME OVER near the end, so I could see what horrors end up chasing you down the corridors.

Great art, music, sound effects and writing! I felt slick the whole way through. Nice job :)

I've finally unsubscribed, my journey is complete.

Definitely reminds me of some classic flash games, in the best way possible. "Trial and error humor quiz" has been a dead genre for too long, I'm glad to see you bringing it back :)

My only complaint would be the cannon controls, those took me a minute to figure out. But everything else was stellar! Great job here, you should all be proud.

Diner Dash was my favorite browser game as a child, so this hit a nostalgic sweet spot!

I would love to see some additional levels or mechanics in the mix, but what you've got so far is already a satisfying little game loop. The real spice in the meatball is the presentation; all of the sound/VFX/art is *spaghetti chef's kiss*. Impeccable design, good job to the whole team! :)
