Man this was so much fun, can I trick you into running this again for me?  I'm still annoyed at myself for missing the really obvious clue about [REDACTED] in the case we played.

I'm about five months into a game of this with some friends and it's delightful.  Writing and waiting for actual, hand-written letters is a strange thrill, and the 1890s are a great setting for something like this - the world is modernizing, but far from modern.

Also, the Post Office should be giving you kickbacks.

I found a character sheet from this game in my house that I swear I've never seen before. I played Profession Huneybuns, a rabbit in a porkpie hat, who worked at a unicycle company.  On the sheet, without any explanation, is the note "socks for walruses."

I don't remember playing the game but judging by the character sheet it must have been pretty great.

It blows my mind that this game has received not one but two major updates since I bought it, both for free for existing buyers.  Huge fan, my group does a one/ two shot of it every few months and I ran Mandlebrot Set for them to universal enjoyment.

I just played this and it's great.  Absolutely brutal, I almost killed myself one-shotting a boar with the Super Strength power and then spent a day desperately grubbing for safe food in order to eat enough to recover. The amount of power you can bring to bear on a problem with energy, compared to how scarce energy can be, is brilliant - I felt like an unstoppable badass and a bottom-feeding prey animal in the same short session.

I need to know what the story behind this is, and I hope it's not something too traumatic to repeat.
