A visual novel told from the perspective of the main character, Sherri Sells, a young adult who has had difficulty seeing- or remembering- others faces. This everyday struggle becomes ever more haunting as she fails to remember the face of the person who murdered her mother. While talking to her therapist, Sherri explains that she prefers the case going cold than sending an innocent person to jail. She recognizes that it's a very sensible way to think and feel about what happened, but that's how she was raised. Preferring logic over putting faith in the unknown, because there's a reason the unknown stays.. well.. unknown. Unbeknownst to Sherri, she will soon become familiar with these unknown forces.

The character portraits, backgrounds, and music really come together to help convey the mood and sets the scene for Sherri's story. The abstract (WOAH!! TITLE DROP!!) and simplistic backgrounds allow us to enjoy a rich environment around our characters without taking the attention away from the story. The music is a little loud and may need adjusting depending on your preference when you first get in the game, but after that it's such a crucial tone setter!! The plucking and strumming of the strings gives a melancholic and surreal feeling, which is amplified by the grayscale style of art. In every setting (the intro/therapists office/forest/dream) the music continued to fit the mood to what was visually happening in the story. I also very much appreciate and enjoy seeing a save feature with multiple files even though it's a short game, because there's decisions that alter the story!

Overall the game is a fantastic piece of art and an intriguing start of a story!!
