Im in the early game and it says to visit Katsue's room, but that isnt an option at home. Am I missing something?

I downloaded the 64 bit windows version and I am on a laptop with windows and a 64 bit system
I downloaded the game and unzipped the file, but the application only opens to a blank white screen. Am I doing something wrong
