Some devs actually host their own browser versions of games too.
I’m on Mac, so this works perfectly for me — no downloads, just play directly in the browser.
I’ve been using this one:
You wake up in a house you don’t recognize, with someone who claims to be your lover… but you don’t remember anything.
At first, he seems calm, even caring. He cooks for you, talks gently, tries to keep things “normal”.
But then things start to feel off.
There are pills involved.
Your memory is unreliable.
And sometimes… he doesn’t look human.
What really got me is this:
Is he actually trying to protect you?
Or is he manipulating you so you won’t leave?
There’s also this possibility that the main character might be sick or hallucinating, and what we see isn’t the truth at all.
I’ve seen people say:
- maybe the pills are making you see him as a monster
- maybe he’s keeping you trapped
- or maybe he’s the only one actually helping you
And honestly… I don’t know which one is worse.

I just played You Make This House a Home and it really stuck with me.
You wake up in a house with someone who claims he’s your partner…
but something feels off from the very beginning.
You don’t remember him, but he seems to know you very well.
As the story progresses, your choices start to shape how everything unfolds.
It’s not a typical horror game —
there are no loud jumpscares, but a constant uneasy feeling.
I wanted to share this because it left a really strong impression on me.
The atmosphere and relationship dynamic feel subtle but disturbing.

I also found a browser version here (no download needed):

Do you trust the “partner”?
Is something wrong with your memory?
Or is something else going on?
I had the same issue before 😅
There’s a browser version that works on mobile:

Way easier than installing anything.
