The going backwards in the story mechanic is a bit subtle at the very beginning and I couldn't add a very clear narrative, so hearing that it clicked for you and that you liked the concept makes me really happy. Thank you for the comment and enjoying my game :)

 I'm happy you liked the reverse story framing. I would have loved to add more depth and details to how the story recontextualizes itself, but as a solo developer, this was all I could fit in. Thanks for understanding and playing :)

You can actually defeat the dragons with the sword (pressing E) after drawing your sword (pressing Q), but your jumping strategy works too! The princess part was a bug but it was really funny so I just left it like that. I'm happy that you enjoyed my game :)
