I got my playdate relatively recently, and so I've been looking for a bunch of games to put on it. And boy am I glad that I found this one. It was a very enjoyable experience from beginning to end. The gameplay and controls were great, the music was incredible, I enjoyed the boss fights and the exploration quite thoroughly. The game reminded me a lot of Hollow Knight in terms of gameplay, theming, and music. There were a couple sections in the game where the platforming was perhaps a bit too hard or precise, but I was able to make it through after quite a few attempts. And the lack of any kind of fast-travel system made the late game drag a bit, as I had to do quite a few map-spanning treks. But otherwise, I'd consider this game a must-play. I got many hours of very good gameplay out of it.
